[ROM] SGA Two End (Chinese Iphone-Like ROM) 22-03-2012

This isn't my ROM, I only put it here for sharing purpose. The original thread of this ROM can be found in http://www.angeeks.com/thread-2032875-1-1.html and this ROM has been mentioned in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1528393 by xarive. Kudos for him, and this ROM is an updated version [latest release was in March 22nd]
This ROM is based on CyanogenMod-7.2.0, Android 2.3.7 and Basehand S5830DXKPB and the ROM's owner has removed GApps
How to install:
Do a full wipe (cache, format data and dalvik) and install from CWM 5 Recovery Mode
Known Bugs:
1. GPS doesn't work, but can be fixed by a method from lagloose that can be find in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1465402
2. Built in browser always experiencing force close.
3. wifi doesn't work, fix can be found in http://www.angeeks.com/thread-2037146-1-1.html or you can find in the link at the bottom, thanks to hydraprime to mention it

It's alright. I didn't noticed the update because I don't use the ROM anymore. This iPhone ROM is buggy with a lots Chinese words if you select English as your language. That's why I don't like it Anyway, the UI are perfectly modded and if you don't mind there's some chinese words out there, you might try out this.

actually, I found that this version is much more stable than the 18-02-2012 version that put in your post. first time I install the one from your post, I found that foursquare always experiencing fc. so when I flash this version, the first app that I tried is foursquare, and it works. thanks xarive, you are the man! kudos for your post

I will continue to trust the devellopeur of xda.

This is not for i9300 but for i9308 which is a chinese variant as far as i know from googling, also found that i9308's stock roms are bloated to death with chinese apps and such. Simply just dont flash this as its for the china variant and bloated to hell.

I've come across a China Mobile I9308, and I have the Asian/Chinese firmware on it and firstly, removing the bloatware takes 3minutes (quick root flash via Odin, install Root Uninstaller App and remove all stock/bloatware apps). Secondly, to install Google Play Store (which took me hours to figure out), you need to install a "gapps(something or other. I can't recall).zip. Only problem I've run into is getting 4G to run after flashing it to AT&T. And last but not least, I think this is definitely not the Chinese Firmware. The Chinese firmware can be found in samsung's website and the file has a different name.

Latest ROM
I have a i9308 and any of the newer release of the "official firmware' messed up my start up and made it loop...
I installed this using Heimdall skipped the bootloader as it seems to fail in both odin and Heimdall on hardware build 6.00
I found the newest official rom bbs dot anzhi dot com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=6344702 ... sorry not enough posts to send out side links ... i under stand.
everything else worked fine.... after this and i was able to back and do the usual install of CWM ..... which failed using Heimdall ... again on the bootloader .... so using Odin it worked ... i used virtual box and Windows 7 ... with the latest Samsung drivers ....i had to create a specific interface for the Samsung in virtual box so the i9308 would mount with out conflict in windows .... i was then able to install CF-Root-SGS3-v6.4 ...
Once rooted i started looking for a way to install google play and all the google services.
i installed this ROM anzhi_karben_samsung_i9308_V1.0 which had the google drivers i needed and was not full of to much other crap and worked well in english ... i found this here bbs dot anzhi dot com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=6198323 i used my Wiebo account to do this and was then able to download.
I got the google pack ..... well one that worked and after i checked everything did not have any malicious scripts that i could find ... bbs dot anzhi dot com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=5401203 ... the zip file was gapps-ics-20120429-signed-4.0.4
i hope this helps some people Heimdall took a little after i figured out how to do this.... it was easy ... i have wiped it out a few times i nthe last week and tried different ROMs from the various Chinese boards ...some made very odd requests for SU access here and there ...i generally removed them after trying to find the offending script .... as i said so far the ones i am using have been pretty safe with little to no issues. I did go in and remove a lot of the preloaded China Mobile wares ...so far the phone is great ... i do fid the wifi signal sucks....
My first android i rooted myself ...see what happens after a drunk night in a taxi in Beijing and you lose your iPhone.... having fun.

The network can be chosen. May you choose only 2G. You just need change it in Settings》》》network>>>More>>>mobile netwoeks>>preferred network type>>>auto 4g/3g/2g

The download is impossible, it stops at 26%. Please, can anyone upload the rom somewhere?

I’ve tried to update with the custom cwm and it gave me as error, than the mobile doesn’t start anymore….
So I’ve copy the b117 rom dload folder to the sdcard and with the 3 buttons update I’ve manage to restart the phone.
Than I’ve try to do the same but for the b118 rom but the update hang at the end.
What can I do?
edit: I've manage a way to start the phone... what scare that I had...
Just to mention that you need stock CWM (don't use custom cwm) to flash this.

Managed to flash hwH60-L02_EmotionUI3.0_B60.zip over official 607 via cwm
but lost ota, local ,usb update

Hi @ all!
This update is already available via OTA update for H60-L02 (everything appears in chinese signs but after updating it you can establish your language, it is multilanguage)
My question is the following:
Allthough the OTA update is multilanguage, there is still one situation where chinese signs are displayed.
This is when I save a number with international prefix (for example +34).
If I save the number without international prefix, the location is displayed in a "normal" way.
Does somebody know why and how I can change it? Please take a look at the attached pictures.

As "man007cgr" said try to downgrade to 4.2.2 via CWM he says 4.4 cant see COM ports.

Just a warning!
I just want to warn you about the 4.4.2 update of the india gionee e7 rom. It seems a little suspicious. I personally stay away from it as it charged 9 euros from my sim card without any reason. And not only that, but also it closes the COM ports to prevent you from flashing another firmware.

He is charged because this rom has 2 programe that sends automatic messages and need to Be deleted.

Also You can shut them down by modify build.prop lines:

You should do both for safety.

Also,for fun,You can change those numbers with any so the messages will Be sent to that number.
The messages contains phone imei,operator code and other things about phone.
The messages are being sent every time You power on your phone and yes,IT charges your phone bill.

I talked with them to communicate the problem of SMS and this is what they replied:
"Hi, in this software we have introduced new activation logic.

No, It doesn't work. You have to use Flyme Tools 4
Here is an apk for Flyme Tools 1.8.6, If that doesn't work try this other apk which is Flyme Tools 1.8.3
Or you can get it in Chinese from the app store here

I must use second way but app is still in RU/ENG.
I haven't got a path "/data/app/com.zhixin.flyme" in device.
I make one and copy base.apk to it but nothing happends.

I've downloaded the latest version of the APK from first post but I've different view of BUTTONS section
No virtual keys !!! I cannot activate old style navigation bar...
EDIT (1 ) : I've installed 2.5.4.2100 instead of 2.4.8.2073, maybe this one the reason ? Latest version have no virtual buttons setting ?

Search and Download from appstore of meizu: "flyme" and Download this tool. I attach a pic of the ítem with this tool you can customize a lot of things include battery icon. Remember, its a xposed module.

Hello, I'm happy to find you here. I've enabled the framework section split-screen and below in the section whitelist apps that I need. After a bit 'of restarts opening multtasking I found the key multi in the upper right corner of the app that I have chosen. And I confirm that it works very well.
