Hi guys, i'm using sliding messagging for MMS and all works fine. 5 minutes ago i go to write a message but it seems that sliding messaging is not the default message application. When i want to change my default application in the option i have only hangout! Someone have fixed this problem?

Hello everyone, i've searched this forum for the solution to this, but cannot find anything.
I have a UK T-Mobile MDA Compact, and recently ungraded the ROM to 1.12.00, the one I downloaded from here: http://www.iris-global.com/t_mobile_download/download_manager_mda_com.html
Basically, if I stop Messaging from the running programs list, then access my messages from the today screen 'item' shortcut, there is no MMS account. I've tried sending myself an MMS from another phone when my MDA is in this state and Messaging crashes; i'm unable to get out of my SMS inbox, which comes up on it's own. I then have to soft-reset.
If I access Messaging by pressing Start -> Messaging the MMS account is there, and it works fine.
Is this a known bug?

i have an issue with the sms notification, everytime i receive a new sms/mms, the notification pops up and then disappear after only 1 sec.
This does only happend with sms/mms, not with email or calendar.
can someone help ? can i change something in the reg ?

there is a key that may be worth you having a tinker with.
HKLM/system/shell/notification/OEM/reminder
the key is called 'EnableAutoDismiss' and i think defaults to 1. I set mine to 0 using my personal config cab.
Hi to everybody,
some days ago i realized my Tattoo doesn't vibrate anymore when i receive sms or email, although it vibrates when i've an incoming call.
Also, the vibration function is still activated for the sms (both in the standard HTC program and in the handcent SMS program). I uninstalled handcent sms, but nothing changed, the phone is rooted but i didnt't changed anything else (the Home is still the original one).
Any idea about how to solve this issue?

I finally figured it out that i had a wrong configuration in the handcent sms notification options
Now everything's is working ok.

Hey guys, I do not have my Droid Razr M rooted and currently trying to put handcent sms on my lock screen instead of the default text messaging app. I have read everything that states all you have to do is disable the default text messaging app, but for some reason when I go to the app info I cannot select the disable button. The disable button is not highlighted and the only thing I can do is force stop.
I have already changed handcent sms to the default sms and mms and this is where I am stuck at.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi guys, tried searching the exisiting threads and read the help forum, but cant fina an naswer to my problem.
I downloaded and installed the jellybean messaging app for my S4 i9505 as I prefer this messager to the default Samsung one. But every time a message comes through I get two icons, two sound and two notifications for every message, So i uninstalled the default app thinking it just a shortcut to the messaging system and now no messages are coming through. I can still access my messages through the jellybean app.
Does anyone know hoe to recover the default messaging app?

Actually would removing the default messaging app actually cause my phone to totally stop sending and receiving sms messages?
ok guys, so turns out it had just been disabled and appears way down at the bottom of the all apps section of application manager
So you can just re-enable it there. Although not sure if my sms is still working if not its obviously a network issue
