Nexus 7 and Auto- airplane mode by DON

Since the 4.2 update, this app is not working with Nexus 7. Any one got a workaround or a recommendation for a similar app.

Yes, Google hastily and sloppily killed it as a quick security fix. The issue has been reported back to Google to implement a better / alternative solution.
If it's important to you, please go to the link below and 'star' the issue so it gets Google's attention quicker.
Bring back the ability to toggle airplane mode, or a way to enable/disable the cellular radio without affecting other radios

Want to make use of 60in Samsung Smart TV

Well it seems as though you cannot screen mirror with a rooted device. What I am looking to do is have movies play from my phone on my Samsung smart TV. I'd rather not get the cable if possible. Can anyone help me out?

This is kind of a workaround but it should work. If you have a computer next to the TV or a laptop hook up a HDMI cable from the CPU to the TV. Use this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.awindinc.sphone2tv

I'm running rooted stock MF9 and have no problems showing stuff off my phone to my Smart TV via Samsung Link.

Wow really? I wonder what allows you and I cant get it to work. I am running sacs rom. Never tried to do it on stock.

Not sure. Stock MF9 with KT's latest kernel.
What does it do when you try? Is the option even available? Might be some framework changes preventing it.

Have you tried triangle away and check the option to freeze super user at start up to get status official?

I open the samsung link app and the TV sees my S4 and trys to connect, it says it is connected and then suddenly drops the connection a few seconds later.

[Q] Developer mode

Okay I just took the update ota I'm not rooted and I was playing in the about setting and a pop up told me my phone is in developer mode can some one tell me what this is ? Did this unlock the bootloader ?

All you did was enable the Developer options in settings. You did so by tapping the build number X times.

No multi-window option (Nexus 4)

I've been searching for an answer, but haven't had any luck. I'm running Omni on my N4 with ssLauncher. Long-pressing apps in Recents doesn't give me multi-window options. Do I need to enable it somehow? I'm also running Xposed with Gravity Box if that's pertinent.

Its not merged into the nightlies yet. You either need to build it yourself or find a build with it

Camera in Hangouts is dark after KitKat update

Has anyone else noticed that when using Hangouts to vid-chat, the camera is darker than normal? on Jelly Bean it was fine, however after the KK update it got bad. Just curious if anyone else has this issue and how it can be reported to Google (if it hasnt already).

Same here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
There was another thread also about this issue and the only suggestion was to flash to another version.
I'm on stock 4.4.2 and I hope there is another way to fix this issue.

Skype works fine, but I may need to switch ROMs cuz camera isn't working on mine ATM. I would like to be able to use hangouts so I don't have to have skype installed as well.

Yeah, skype works fine on my end too. I was only able to try WeChat and Hangouts. Both of them produces darker camera.

The latest Hangouts update fixed the dark camera issue.

Oh, I see. I guess it's just software compatibility on kitkat then.
