Hello guys, Now, I'm running on MIUI Android 2.3 version.I'm very happy on it.But,I've a problem about streamimg watching video or clip via youtube apps. It's completely "not smooth".
Does it working normally ? or I can improve it better ? , How ?
Thanks
bict
Most probably you need to deactivate the HD option as the driver is not working now. Just press the HD to Deselect the HD mode when using YouTube.

Hi Guys,
I have an android mini pc dongle and i want to use it as a mediaplayer.
The native videoplayer of android plays everything flawless, even 3d movies.
Now i want to use XBMC but is lags very much when playing 1080p movies. I have read that it is possible to use XBMC now with external players like MX player. I tried that but it still lags.
My question is if it is possible to combine the android native videoplayer with XBMC. In case it does i think i will solve the 1080p issues.
Hope you can help me
Cheers

Hi..
The issue has nothing to do with the videoplayer lagging. XBMC on android is sh*t at the minute.. Even on PC it's not that good.
Seems the devs are more focused on implementing new features over stability and bug fixing.
And it's been like that for years now. Don't expect much from XBMC on android..
Cheers..
Thx for ur reply!
Which app do you recommend to manage movies on android?

XBMC on android depends on the device you are running.
XBMC runs flawlessly on my Nexus 7, 1080p, 10bit video with no problem.
Have you tried one of the builds from XBMCAndroid.com?
They have several builds available and one that is targeted to set top/USB android devices.

Hi, Yes i tried several versions. Also with the mx player but even with the mx player it still lags a bit.
The best solution would be the native android videoplayer with XBMC.
The device i use is a android mini pc cx803
Hi
I have been using the latest xbmc build for Android devices from xbmc.org website. And have mx player and bsplayer installed. Everything worked perfectly until the 4.3 jellybean update a few days ago. Since the update i get no video, only sound in every video feed i try to play. I also get subtitles but no video. I waited until the update for mxplayer, rebooted but the problem still there. I also have the latest mx player codecs. I get no error so i guess a logfile wount help...
Any clue how to solve this problem.
Would be grateful for any help.

Same problem with my Nexus 4. I have reverted back (uninstalled in installed) to the stable build of xbmc 12.2 Frodo, and it's now back to choppy video playback.

I reinstalled xbmc and solved problem. You also have to check the h/w accelaration feature on mx player.
Thanks for sharing.

Hello Guys
I'm really struggling hard to find good tutorial or hack which can make XMBC+MXPlayer fully work for all streams and videos on Nexus 4.
Does anyone have XBMC version which works with MXPlayer(HW+decoder). If so could you please provide tutorial links and files.
I've tried XAF custom builds and other stuff but nothing works consistently. Some times External Player works ok and sometimes It doesn't open at all. As I need almost every video (Especially NaviX, Internet streams and all others) to be opened in MXPlayer and for me that doesn't happen in any of those except for Icefilms and some video addons.
So If anyone has tried testbuilds etc etc and got it fully functional then could you please let me know.
Many Thanks.
