After flashing Stock JB KDZ using FlashTool, my G2 became useless, when I boot my phone, LG logo shows up but LG Animation Logo doesn't show but there is LG sound and blue/green LED lights are flashing. In download mode, it doesn't show the usual "Firmware Update" screen, but it only shows stuck LG Logo, however I can see that my PC detects my G2 in download mode. In my homescreen, whenever I operate my phone and open some apps, the screen just randomly freezes but I can hear touch sounds when I touch the touchscreen panel. So what I always did is to lock the phone using either Power Button or Double tap to make it functionable again but whenever I will unlock my phone, a black screen comes out, and I have to lock and unlock the phone several times before I get the luck to see the lock screen and unlock the phone. I already flashed my phone several times to Stock JB using FlashTool, but still the problem exists. I also tried hard resetting my phone but the problems is still there. Do you guys have any ideas about my situation? Is it a hardware problem now? or it's just a software problem? Thanks. Hope you guys can help me. I will very much appreciate your help. :good:

Well im kinda new to the rooting thing but I believe my phone was only soft rooted. I was trying to install twrp but I got a dead android with a explanation mark or it would go to a black screen after the lg logo.i didn't know I was soft rooted when I was trying this. so after awhile I gave up. my phone still booted normally without trying to go into recovery. recently an update for android came out ( kitkat 4.4.2) so I decided to see if it would work. it restarted the phone to install the update and it got stuck in fastboot mode. I read somewhere you can install twrp from fastboot, so I tried to fix it and now it gets stuck on a black screen after the lg logo. Ive been searching for a solution for over a week and any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a Verizon lg g2 vs980 with the stock rom if that helps...
Oh and when I plug my phone in to my pc while the black screen is on drive letters F though T pop up and the F drive has an image folder in it with random files
Similar issue... no LG logo at all
I was successful in rooting then attempted to install TWRP. The phone turned off then turned on with the "android open stomach and !" icon... it shut off a few mins later.
Now, all I get is the buzz when you power it on and a black screen. Im not able to enter the recovery mode using any combination of buttons. I cant even see the LG logo!
LG Mobile Support Tool nor my computer will even recognize the device. Am I truly bricked beyond repair?
please I have not rooted LG G2 D802
stuck at the LG logo, :crying:
initially because I factory reset but the screen freeze when a factory reset,
I TURN OFF push the power button 10 seconds,
and then I turn it on again
now I am stuck at the LG logo,
but I could hear when I touch the screen,
Also I could hear the sound of the touch dialpad like normal condition,
I could hear when I make emergency calls,,
I do it all the time just to show the LG logo at screen, sometimes show blackscreen,,, what is the problem???
now I can't enter recovery mode.
and I can't enter download mode,, all the same only shows the LG logo
whether a software problem ?? (eg display driver) if possible????
or hardware ??
I really hurt now :crying:
sorry for my english
THANKS
I have the ATT model g2. it was running android 4.2.2 and i rooted. i got an OTA notification yesterday so i unrooted it, and uninstalled busybox. and went ahead with the update. now, my phone does not turn on. you go to turn it on and the lg logo flashes for a second or two, then a black screen, if you look closely you can tell that the screen panel is still lit, but nothing shows up. It will not boot to download mode, and it does boot to the (stock LG recovery, i never had a custom recovery) recovery, but when i hit the power button 3 times to do the hard reset, i get the black screen again, and no boot. when i connect it to my computer, it gives me a bunch of popups saying that i need to reformat a drive before i can use it, somewhere around 15-20 of them? ive run out of ideas to fix it. any and all help is appreciated. would really like my g2 back, im back to my old phone which was a nexus 5 that has a terribly cracked screen, and i really like to get the g2 back rather than having to pay to get my screen replaced.
Hello!
I'm having trouble with my LG L7 (p700).
Some weeks ago I installed a rom, and after that it stopped working.
For now on, when i press the power button the screen lights up but stays black. And when it's charging displays a battery icon with the charge percentage.
I tried a lot of times using KDZ to flash a stock rom but it doesn't finish the flashing, or sometimes my pc crashes with a BSOD after some time with the KDZ program opened.
Also, using any combination of buttons doesn't do anything besides the light up black screen or turns off the phone, i can't acess cwm recovery, or even emergency mode, it's always a black screen.
Please someone help me, i really need to use the phone.
