no problem that's surprising the first time (also for me after one year of use). but this phone is very thin and powerful so you hands can feel the calories at dissipation stage.
for more detail just Google it about and you'll better understand.
Nobody is anymore complaining.

Random dialling or screen captures

I've had some strange issues with my note 3 and wonder if anyone else has similar
My note 3 takes random screen captures or will dial one of my contacts without notice
I have a pattern lock screen so I know my phone isn't unlocking
Anyone else having similar ?

Had some issues with mine today,I did Restore to Default and things are working fine, just try though and you could be lucky or else wait for the OTA update to fix the issue!
So glad it's not just me .. Did you reset your whole phone to default ie factory reset or just the phone settings and if the phone how did you do it ?
I've added an app called call confirm to ensure I don't accidently dial
What a weird issue ?

Thanks for letting me know about that app and I did factory reset,I use my iphone a lot so used the term Restore to Default. The thing is you have to delete everything off your phone if u got it and u should be ok I believe!
When the original Galaxy Note arrived, there was a problem called Ghost touch, which operated screen touch on its own and it affected only 1/3rd of owners so Note series is prone to such issues, dont worry!
Your welcome will we have had our fair share of issues reboot and ghost dialing .. Not good for a flagship handset but im sure Sammy will sort it ..... Glad it's bit a fault but probably a software issue which will be fixed in time to done
Love the note 3 had one and two and so far bar a few gremlins this is the best handset so far

Hey,its alright buddy!Ahh,I have had some worst issues with my S4 and took many hours to sort it out despite being an E&C engineer so this is less than a problem for me.Basically yes, facing such issues on flagship handsets gives us the creep but we cant help.
Yes,its one of the best handsets, hopefully some rooting in the near future.
Best of luck!

I use an iphone 5 too and I agree that the screen is a bit small and thats one of the reasons why people are stuck with Android but its really cool and both have advantages over each other.
Anyway,where are you from,buddy?

Did you bother to search before opening another thread?.. No, is the answer.
Anyway. This is usual, it will return to normal when the speaker dries out.

Tab 4 7 heat from the lower part / the bottom

Hey
I just bought a galaxy tab 4 7 inches and am loving it , anyway while using it i realized that sometimes it warms up from the bottom of the device around the home button. Is that normal?
Thanks in advance
Anyone ??

It's either the battery or the cpu, you're going to have some heat during operation, especially with that Marvell cpu, it has to work harder
Normal.

But the heat is from two different places, where one is near the camera (cpu) and the other one on the bottom which I have no clue what it is from.
Heat from battery discharge

Do you have the same tablet?
Sent from my GT-I9505 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I get a lot of heat from the top/camera area. I figured It's just normal CPU heat since it always happens under load.
Assuming the layout is the same as Tab 2 & 3 7's, which with out a doubt Samsung didnt change it, battery was on the right hand side, all other internals on the left. The battery runs the whole length of the tablet. From bottom of the camera down to the bottom of the screen and probably/roughly 2/3's width of the tab. So 99% chance youre feeling the battery which is normal.

I had the 7" for a few days and noticed heat. But it is well within normal limits, and with a case you can't feel it at all. It will shut off before it over heats.

Thanks, I was just trying to make sure that what I am facing is the norm.. And it would be great if someone else could also confirm that there is the warmth around the home button too.

I personaly never heard of bubbles surfacing from under a glass screen lol but if it should be true i would exchange the phone and be done with it. Or check your roof for leaks
I saw it on forums, But the people had cheap phones. I will must exchange it...
Sent from my SM-G900F using XDA Free mobile app
So we are waiting for your feedback after exchange
Hey guys, so I did not exchange it yet, but I discovered interesring fact, so when it's cold, there are no bubbles on screen, but when it's warm, its much more visible... And I think the mistake is on digitizer because i can clean it, so it is not under display

[Q] Lighting not even?

Hello everyone!
I bought my gn3 about a week ago and now i noticed that the lighting isn't even????
Did i damage it or note 3's have this issue?
its visible when the brightness is set to about 30% and on a gray background. its most visible on the left side of the screen (like a slightly brighter tint or something)
can anyone check it on their devices as well for me?
Thanks!
Edit : it's not only on the left side it's all over the screen. when I open the phone app I can see the background isn't one color but scales of dark grey and I think it's supposed to be black.
Sent from my SM-N9005 using XDA Free mobile app
It's like that and there's really nothing you can do.
Except trying to find another N3 that doesn't have that, or at least in a smaller scale, but good luck with that.
And next time, do some Google searching...The phone is now more than one year old, so any other problems you encounter, you definitely wont be the first one.

Ah, I see.
I'll check my friend's note 3 tomorrow and I'll tell you what I find.
Thanks a lot.
Sent from my SM-N9005 using XDA Free mobile app
That's normal. Nearly all units have that.
Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk 2
I checked my friend's and it's smoother than mine. Also mine is a little visible all the time.
Well then, since it's in all units I'm okay with it.
Does anyone know what causes it?
Thanks for everyone who replied.
Sent from my SM-N9005 using XDA Free mobile app
Here's a picture. Look at that left edge.
Sent from my SM-N9005 using XDA Free mobile app
That definitely isn't normal. I would exchange it.
I see. Well I will try to replace it and see if they are going to accept. Because it's only visible in few lighting conditions. (it also annoys me a lot)
Sent from my SM-N9005 using XDA Free mobile app
Hm, this looks more like Light Bleed. That does warranty attempting to replace it, it shouldn't have that. (Although it often does in a lot of devices)
Well. What's the cause of that? Is it some loose screw?
Sent from my SM-N9005 using XDA Free mobile app
So I was thinking of replacing it. But before that I made a research about light bleeding. They say it's pretty common. So, I'm afraid if I replace it I get a worse one. What do you guys think?
Sent from my SM-N9005 using XDA Free mobile app
It's a display problem. Samsung will replace it for free.
I see. But what if the new unit has the same issue? Do I keep replacing?

I don't think you will have the same problem. They have to replace the display, if also your new display will be broken, you are a very unlucky person
Well. I will go and see. I will tell you guys what will happen.
Thank you

So I finally have free time and might go replace it within the next week.
And I'll see if I can get a red replacement if they were going to replace it

I went to the Samsung service and I found out the place is no longer there anymore.... Dammit
I think I might just stick to it then? /:

I have no idea where you're from, but there's usually more than one Samsung Service Centre in a country.. You can find the addresses on the Samsung website under Contact.
I just called them and oh gee. It's a 30 minute drive. I'm too lazy to drive for 30 minutes. Also I have exams. So maybe next week? xD
Bare with me guys
