AS everyone knows, USB otg does not work with our nexus 4. So I searched for a mod with that I can use it. I found the solution to connect an accupack with a micro USB to micro USB + normal USB . has anybody a link to an amazon product with that specification? Or which connection possibilitys do you all use?
The smart dock works with HDMI and USB - OTG simultaneously.
Anyone know of a cheaper alternative to use the Galasy S4 as a desktop pc.(HDMI and OTG together)
I need to be able to connect the HDMI to a monitor and simultaneously use the OTG to work with a usb keyboard and usb mouse.
I know that bluetooth keyboards and mouse[mice ?] work with a mhl adapter but i am specifically looking for an option that supports
HDMI out and USB mouse/keyboard.
Any help/links etc to products on the net would be appreciated !!

Hi guys, I'm having a trouble with my Aquos crystal (305sh).
Anyone got the USB OTG function working?
I mean:
1) Use external USB mouse / keyboard.
2) Read/Write USB memory.
*Using USB micro A /USB A cable.
I couldn't get it workiong so far with my 305sh.
Some "unofficial" spec listing sites says Aquos crystal DO support USB OTG 1.3.
Whereas in SHARP site / Softbank site I couldn't find any USB OTG related description...Oh does it mean I can't?
If you got it working please let me know how.
According to this thread = http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2238840, I need to have either a custom Kernel or ROM in order to able to use my newly purchased Plugable USB 2.0 to 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN Network Adapter and Micro USB Host OTG Cable with Micro USB Power.
Unfortunately, I'm having a bit of difficulty finding any that support or include the drivers for my adapter. Does anyone know of any that support USB Ethernet adapters out of the box?
Since our port is USB C and I have an HDMI and VGA adapter in hand, I have tried connecting the phone to an external monitor.
But, nothing works. Is there anyway we can get an external monitor working?
You can't because A1 don't support mhl, as far as I know it required the phone to have usb 3.1 to support usb c to vga/hdmi output. But you can use chormecast if you want to use wireless method.
Edit: Nope, check the Xiaomi official page:

Wasnt MHL a old standard? The USB-C should have a HDMI Alt feature. You should try connecting a device with native HDMI input, without VGA or other adapters.
