When it booting and you see the yellow splash screen hold the volume rocker up. Soon you will see the TWRP blue splash screen. At that point give a three count and release the rocker and wait for it to boot into TWRP.

Is there anyway to undo gfree??

Is there anyway to undo gfree?? I think I messed up my phone by rebooting it and pressing volume up, every now and then my power button doesn't go to sleep when I pressed it after a while 10-20secs it will prompt shutdown selector, at first I thought its broken but when I fast boot it keeps on pressing power button and it goes around and around.
Any help or suggestions would be pretty much appreciated thnks....

Lmfao couldn't resist I'm sorry I'm of no help to you
Yes, you can undo gfree, see the Wiki for details.
But it sounds to me like your Power button is stuck, nothing to do with gfree IMHO.
I agree with steviewevie, you should check your power button.
You can use the KeynrTracker app in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=850464
I know there was an app that monitored key input events and was very useful when I was modding my keymap file, but I can't remember its name.
Thank you guys so much for helping me around my problems, I didn't undo gfree bcoz of the button remapper you showed me but one thing what if I put power button to none what will happen how can I turn it on??
EDIT: nothing had worked from button remapper, still green light on gfree
EDIT: its working cause I was so stupid that I put power to power and just changed it to none sorry guys, undo gfree no go..

[Q] Noob question: How to know if the phone is ON ?

Ok, really noob.
I turn the phone off every night but sometimes I forget if I turned it off or not.
As far as I know, we can only click the power button to light the screen but if the phone is already shutdown it will turn on again.
Is there any other key to touch the phone so we'll able to see if it's on?
Hold town power and vol down. If it is on it will.go to.the lock screen and if it is off hboot will appear, wait for the green text to go and then use vol keys to navigate to fastboot and press power to select and then navigate to power down and press power

Recovery Mode questiom

I don't that when I am in recovery mode I need to hit volume up and power multiple times in order to get the menu. Is anyone else having this issue?

This should help:
1. Power off completely
2. Hold vol up + vol down without touching the power button (make sure you got that perfectly)
3. Hold power button for 2 seconds
From there it should be easy to get to recovery

There are a few youtube videos on how to achieve this if the above post still does not help
K thank you. I was wondering if I had a defective button, but the all work perfectly under normal operations. Maybe it is my technique like you say.

Won't turn off

Holding the lock button no longer brings up the menu to power off, it just locks the screen. Doesn't matter how long I hold it for nothing shows up.
Hoping I've just done something stupid?

Got a nexus 7 but the power button doesn't work.
Can put the screen to sleep using a magnet but the power button wont work.
Im scared that if the battery goes down that it will never come back up.
Can anyone help if I could power it up without the power bottom.
Thanx
