Gmail and settings stopped working suddenly...anyone suggestions? - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My ATT LG G2 (802c stock rooted) has been working fine up until this morning. Now, when I attempt to run Gmail, i'm told that it stopped suddenly. I cleared the cache and data, and attempted to uninstall it to reinstall. However, I'm told that Settings has also stopped running.
I looked at my frozen apps, and 98% of them are bloatware; I don't see any critical apps. Again, it worked fine up until 2 hours ago.
I was able to remove gmail using Titanium Backup. I rebooted, and I want to install black gmail.apk. When I click on it, it tells me "Sorry, no application is available".
Any thoughts?

Problem with Gmail/Google Talk?

So, this morning, I got a notification that my phone had failed to log into Google Talk, which I never even use. In addition, my Gmail application completely stopped working. It wouldn't send or receive emails, even when trying to manually refresh. Any ideas? SRF 1.2, EC05, Genocide 2.0.
Thanks!

Try booting into CWM and repair permissions. Seems to have helped a lot of people with google apps crashing and force closing.
...
I had actually created a backup in CWM about 10 minutes prior to messing with the UV settings in SetCPU, which is what seemed to cause the problem with Google. I restored that backup and everything is back to normal. Could some corruption have happened during the crashes as I was setting the undervolts?
Thanks,
-Rob

[Q] android.process.score has stopped

I'm getting the error "Unfortunately, the process android.process.a core has stopped." about every 8-20 seconds. The only thing that stops it is deleting my Google account under settings>accounts.
Earlier, I had OAPK4 and backed up my apps and settings with Titanium. I then installed Smoothrom3.1 and cleared cache partition and Dalvik after flashing. I then restored my apps and settings. Everything was fine for a couple hours and then the problem started out of the blue. Like I said, delete my Google acct and it goes away. Sign back in and it immediately comes back
AFAIK, that process is for home launcher mate, try installing other launcher, nova or apex is recommended BTW, hehehe.

You must not switch between different ROMs without wiping because it may lead to unexpected behaviour, but even restoring ROM internal settings from a different ROM may cause force closes. Wipe everything, log in again and your force closes should no longer appear.

Fixed. I started clearing caches on Google related stuff and it finally stopped when I did a Clear Data on Contacts Storage and that seems to have fixed it. Been good for over an hour now. Fingers are crossed.

[Q] update breaking functionality

So I've been running CM 12 for about a month and today I went to update and afterward my phone was unuseable. After the update I started getting the pop-up gmail has stopped so I uninstalled it. After that I couldn't use the play store. It kept asking me to sign in even though I was already signed in. I cleared cache and deleted data in play store and still the same problem. After This I tried reinstalling gapps to see if that was the problem. After reinstalling gapps my phone kept saying unfortunately phone has stopped working. After clicking ok it would come back up immediately, rendering the phone unusable. I couldn't even get to the desktop to try to get into settings. Before the update I backed up my rom so I was like, "Good for me, I saved the day." Nope. After installing my backup same problem. The only way for this problem to stop happening was to reinstall cm12 all together wiping system and data. I tried reinstalling my backup hoping it would work but I get the same problem.
What's going on here? How do I get my old rom back. I need my contacts back. I don't care about anything else as much. It would be nice to get everything but contacts is the main thing.

the process.android.process.acore has stopped

Hello,
I have a lg2 with Android 5.0.2.
For a long time i was on CM but i had too many problem so i a factory reset (wipe all...) and i come back on stock.
Everything went fine then i install Facebook app and i saw the message: "The process android.process.acore has stopped" indefinitely. I uninstall fb app and it solves it. Today i install pushbullet then again same problem... so i try to uninstall it... but the message stay.
So i do another factory reset... i installed facebook and pushbullet, everything work. I installed aquamail (that works before) and then, this f*****ing message appeared again. I try to uninstall aquamail but it stays ://.
So i've looked on a lot of post here and then... and i don't find any solution. It drives me crazy and i can't use my phone.
List of things i tried:
-factory reset
-go offline/turn off sync and try to clear cache/data and force stop contacts and contacts storage.
Do you have anymore idea?
android.process.acore has stopped
Wow you posted this way back when and no answers? I dug out my old LG G2 running 5.1.2 I think and after installing Whatsapp I got the same error and it makes the phone unusable.
Did you ever find out a solution? Would love to know a fix for this.

Problem with apps crashing "force closing"

Hi,
i'm using G6 H870 for a few months and about week ago apps like: Steam, Gmail, Google Pay and 2 others suddenly stopped working. So i tried clearing cache, clearing app data, reinstalling and nothing changed. Next i did factory reset and updated to the latest firmware and everything was fine for.. few hours. Now all these apps again show "app force closed" and i can't use them
What can i try to get them working again? Phone is useless without gmail and google pay...
