I'm not sure that bluetooth is an app. I don't have an app installed for it at least, and there is no bluetooth app in the app store...
really trying to avoid factory wipe since it would take at least two hours to reinstall everything

NO ma man you can find the Bluetooth app in this location /system/app
then replace it

Yes yes yes
Replacing app in /system worked for me..Thanks guys as it was quite frustating....

thanks for the reply
there is apparently no app in the system/app folder for bluetooth, which i'm guessing is the problem
now where the heck do i find the 'replacement'? There is no bluetooth app in the market. sorry for not knowing exactly what to do

The system/app contains the bluetooth app, take a look
And if you are running 4.4.2 I can upload the apps for you

yeah I meant that the bluetooth app is not in there at all. don't know why i accidentally said folder
not sure if i'm running 4.2.2 or what, how do i tell? gs4 that i've been using a custom rom called mint jelly ever since it came out back in June of last year, and have not made any further updates due to them not being necessary

You can tell by going to Settings > More > About Device > then you will find android version

thanks, ive never sideloaded an app before so if you wouldnt mind....
do i download on computer? and then after I extract I take the APK and push it through? I can lookup this process but just wondering if this is the route i'm supposed to be going next

Download "ES File Explorer" then click on option button
Then scroll down and turn on Root Explorer
Then click on root explorer and choose Mount Option and change the /system to rw
Then download the apps & extract them
You can extract them on pc, then copy the apps to SD Card
From SD Card copy them to System/app

really thankful for your help
i did get those exact files into my sys/app folder
restarted the device and bluetooth still wont work...really frustrating. hard to believe the only way to fix this might be to get a completely different custom ROM and resetup my entire device, which will take hours and i'm sure it's just a matter of time before I have some other problem.
Any suggestions welcome

Sorry I forgot the most important thing
Keep pressing on any app in the /System/app
And click properties
And look to the permission of the app
then keep pressing on the Bluetooth app and click properties and click change the permission of the bluetooth app to Permissions like the previous app
Reboot

You must unmount the SD-Card in the Settings - then Download you want in the Market and if the download finished and installed mount the SD-Card again

A workaround not a complete fix but... When you get that problem again go to your download folder using any explorer application, like ES FILE EXPLORER, order the list by date added and you will find your appin the 1st position. Just install it- from there-. This fix work for the 100% downloaded application case but not installed
i think when you unmount the sd and install the apk it goes to the data.img in android folder, because this is acting as internal memory on android build... correct me if im wrong... but it works for me all the time and the aps are on sd...

Stock Thinkfree office

My P500 came stock with Thinkfree office, but I sorta miss it after flashing newer ROMs.
Does anyone have the apk for this? (Is it legit to ask for this?)
If it's not, then reccos for a free/cheap app are welcome
Thanks.

I installed the apk, but when I try to update, it forces close!
Any idea as to what can be done ?
Thanks
install it as a system app then you can update
Updated APK attached. (Ver 2.0.110222 from the lgeglobal trunk)
Having the same Update FC issues in custom roms, I updated it from the stock rom before porting it over. Install as system app.
Disclaimer: This isn't from the market trunk and the License Verfication is not circumvented, so technically it should only work with LG phones that have it preinstalled (verified via phone IMEI). However if mods consider this a ware and against forum rules, feel free to delete it. It is not my intention to pirate or distribute illegally.

Reboot into recovery, and fix permissions
How do I fix permissions or is there an option to do that in clockwork mod?
Also, would it be possible to use mobileodin to do that instead

Putting it into data/app installs is, fixing permissions is just so it will show in the app drawer
Make sure you have Security => Unknown Apps checked and Verify Apps unchecked
Apps install fine for me by clicking an .apk
Use Root Explorer or ES File Manager, it's probably the MY Files preventing it.

If your phone is rooted and your in a custom rom then do this , but if your on stock rom , try to install samsunghub. apk and use the search button to look for the app
1. extract libgnustl_shared.so from system>lib of your rom's zip.
2. Copy and paste to System>>lib and change permission to rw-r--r--
3. Reboot and enjoy!

[Request] Verizon Visual Voicemail APK

Is there anyone out there who is still running the stock version of lg g2 24A that could pull the VerizonVVM.apk from system? I have my phone on cloudyG3 and I really don't want to have to restore all the way back to stock just for this one apk. it seems like a waste of time and internet. I just was wondering if there was anyone kind enough to take the time to do this for a fellow user.

You have yo install it using a PC , copy the .apk file and plug your phone using USB (as media sync) and paste the apk file right inside the download folder.
Next , unplug your phone , go to play store and install "astro file manager" then browse through the download folder inside your phone , and simply install the app.
I hope I helped
