[Q] New Developer " Failed to parse the output of adb version..Help

i've taken the giant step towards developing for android due to the opportunities of possibilities.
system : power pc g5 os x 10.5.8
downloaded Eclipse 3.5.2
downloaded mac sdk version form developers.android.com
installed the eclipse,- install the new software ( https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/ )
after went to eclipes + preferences ( i'm on Mac ) + Android to input my SDK LOCATION..... ( i have the downloaded Android-SDK-mac_x86 folder -- users/development/Android-SDK-mac_x86 )
after i direct to this and press Apply i'm bombarded with
Failed to parse the output of 'adb version'
adb version' failed!
can some one help me please......
one time i disregarded the prompts went ahead to WINDOWS + Android SDK and AVD Manager to check for available packages and downloaded them.
after created an AVD
then created a new ANDROID project
started out with the Hello Tutorial but i had a red ( ! ) mark
emulator will not launch..... lol
i know it's alot .. i need help and asking is the best way to get it... thanks

[Q] Help i can't update to 2.2 because of sh

I tried to install apps2sd for my Samsung Galaxy 3 (GT-I5801) which has android 2.1-update 1 stock rom.
using this post

but something went wrong and it failed to install apps2sd for my mobile. My phone was already rooted before this and was working well and samsung kies could detect it.
But after unsuccessful installation of above , my sh file under system/bin/sh got corrupted and now kies don't detect my device. also
- exec '/system/bin/sh' failed: Exec format error (8) -
error occures when i try to connect to adb from cmd ( windows xp).
After resetting phone , kies detected my phone and it asked for update but it failed at 98% installation of plug-in update ( required for android 2.2 froyo update )
I tried with many file explorers as sh file seems to be 0 size and sh_bak as valid but no app could recover that. Also i am unable to remove superuser permission app as samsung service center will not tolerate my phone as it was rooted. I tried z4root but it says your phone is rooted and it does not un-roots phone or re-roots phone.
Please help me. I am from INDIA.

android injector fail to install

I m trying to install linda file manager.so I currently use android injector.The driver is installed and work properly with adb comand.android injector can see the device but it is unable to install any apps.it give me thise error message
pkg: /data/local/tmp/Linda.apk
Failure [-12] .my version is rc29.Have you any idea?

Did you turn on the install from unknown source?
And try putting the apk on your SD card and install from there.

Yes I did but I think I need a file manager to install from sdcard.How to get one?

Which ROM do you have again? Couldn't you just download it from the market? Just a little confused.

[issue][sovled]Aborted Installation[unknown solution]

Hi
I tried to Install PA 3.+ on stock kernel
i could find ROM.zip but after choose to install i got this error >> Installation Aborted <<
the authorization was disabled
i copied rom.zip from PC to a USB and choose path of USB-OTG and then tried to install from USB >> Successful <<
both rom and gapps [unknown solution for me that why it happened!]
Now my N7 s working properly on PA 3.+
But i wanna know what was the problem of Internal storage that i couldn't install from it ?!??!!?
(and then installed from USB)
I wanna install and experience more rom and *nix OS on nexus7 and i m thinking if it happens again or ...
do u have any idea or solution !?

ADB Driver ( parameter incorrect )

Hi,
I have bought a Nexus 4, and im trying to settings it for my android developpement ..
So i have tried to install the ADB driver manually, and it give me this message : Paramètre Incorrecte
I have tried differents tutos with no success :/
In my registry i have 4 folders :
VID_18D1&PID_4EE2
VID_18D1&PID_4EE2&MI_00
VID_18D1&PID_4EE2&MI_01
VID_18D1&PID_4EE6
I have the 4.2.2 version , and the lasted Android SDK,ADB. And im in Win Vista
And the MTP is correctly installed ( i can access to my folder in the phone)
What i'm doing wrong ?

Try using wugfresh toolkit,it will install the drivers and test if they work

Use the Universal Naked Driver
