[Q] Bluetooth controls - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and I have it paired to a bluetooth headphones(LG HBS-730) and my car (not at the same time). For awhile my controls worked on both but for the last 4 months, they have stopped working. The volume on the LG works but I can't pause playback. If someone is talking to me, I have to turn the headphones off. In the car, none of the controls work. I've recently upgraded to 4.4.2 but this problem was before the update.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Try to wipe data/ factory reset & cache partion
or download any bluetooth headset app management :good:

[Q] Problem with a2dp in CM11

Hi, I have a problem with bluetooth handset and a2dp profile. I've just done an update my Lg L5(NFC) to CM11 beta6 + OC Kernel and everything seems to be ok, but my stereo bluetooth handset Sony SBH20 doesn't work. It works only on mono mode. I checked the bluetooth settings and the media transfer is turned on. I tried to upload cyanogenmod once again and doing hard reset, wipe data and other but nothing can help me. I also tried to change the audio_policy.conf file. It worked perfectly on CM10.1. Can anyone help me? I'm sorry if i did mistakes but english isn't my mother language
Anyone? I've just noticed that headset doesn't play only mp3 files. Mx player can play it, but only in S/W mode, but when i disconnect my headset it works on H/W mode so i think it is a problem with codecs. I can't find a solution in internet. I realy need your help!!!

[Q] Bluetooth Media Audio not functioning

I have a Note 3 TMobile SM-N900T rooted with stock rom. When using a bluetooth headset, properly paired and configured for both phone and media audio all of the sudden I can it no longer plays media audio through bluetooth. Phone audio works fine. Although I am connected to bluetooth the media sound only plays throu the phone's speakers.I think the phone tried and failed to take an update before this happened as my Android version is 4.3. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Same problem with sonyericsson MW600
when i was on 4.3 system (with note 2) the headset worked properly and notification audio go to headset even when the phone is set on vibration.
now with 4.4.2 (with note 3) i can't able to play any notification sound to headset if the phone is on vibration mode.
i tried SoundAbout but it doesn't solve the problem. It can able to send notification to headset instead the phone, but with the phone set on normal mode (with volume on).
Any solution?

Bluetooth Problems via wireless

Have an issue with my S5 bluetooth. When i connect it to my bluetooth speaker and play youtube etc via wireless the music keeps skipping and becomes distorted. The same speaker works fine with my Nexus tablet and a cheap android phone I have. If i use my data connection it's fine but as soon as i connect via my home wi-fi again the music again becomes distorted.
Anyone experienced similar or have any ideas what might be causing this.
S5 is on stock Three Uk rom and is unrooted.
Did you switch to art from dalvik. I have the same problem with Bluetooth and my car stereo. I switched to art, wondering if that's the issue.

Bluetooth media audio

I have G37 2013. Phone pairs but won't let me to enable media audio. I can make and receive calls. Had no issues with S6 edge. I have wiped bluetooth share cache, I unpaired and paired again. I went into recovery and wiped cache their too. This is killing me I would like to stream my music!! Any other suggestions or ideas?
My only problem is that there is no text on my car display. Pairing works perfect. At my old S4 text is there.
my guess is that the older headunit doesnt support the new version of bluetooth and the way it send the Audio data, that is the problem with my headunit anyway

Bluetooth connection

Hello everyone. I am enjoying my s10+. I don't have any issues with it except for one. I can't get Bluetooth audio to activate on my jvc double din in my car. The model is kw-340bt. On my pixel 3 xl it works with no problem. My s10+ can connect to the unit but it only lets me make phone calls. When I go to it in Bluetooth settings the audio option is off. When I try to turn it on it attempts to turn on then turns off. It will not come on. I have even reset my unit to factory settings and still the same thing happens. Does anyone have any other options I can try?
Yeah I'm having trouble myself with my ps4 controller, it connects but doesnt do anything! And even if I turn off the bluetooth it doesnt disconnect! What hell Samsung. It's so bad I have to force close / clear and data/ cache on bluetooth system app.
This happened to someone I knew when they used smart switch upgrading from their S5 to the S8+and moved over their settings. Unfortunately a factory reset was all they could find to fix it.
This may sound weird but I had problems getting my TV to connect. I had to go through the new Smartthings app, look for nearby devices. When I tapped on the TV it downloaded something and then I could connect.
Audio track data not updating on Bluetooth car audio head unit
Same. My previous phone (LG V20) was a breeze to connect via Bluetooth to car audio (Subaru Impreza MY15) & happily displayed the track information for my audio collection.
Fast forward to the new S10+ (exynos) & while it connects for audio, track information is only displayed for the first track & remains on-screen without change.
I've gone into developer options, and while I can change the Bluetooth AVRCP Versions from AVRCP 1.3, AVRCP 1.4 (default), AVRCP 1.5 & AVRCP 1.6, the Bluetooth Audio Codec Selection always defaults back to SBC.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Better yet, does anyone have a fix that I could apply???

Every phone that I have ever had always goes back to default with the audio options. I never understood why. They give you options but you can't use the options. Makes no sense.
