've been trying to activate 4g that I already have the SIM 4g and want to enter the menu hidden # * # * 4636 * # * # to activate oopcion but I have not succeeded, try entering the efs folder and find the hiddenmenu but that folder there is no such file, also try to enter * # 0011 # but not allowed to enter someone can help me?
They disabled those dialer codes on the note 3.
You need to flash a different firmware, preferably one from your country or provider.

im not sure what hidden menu your talking about but on my note 3 i use *#0*# for testing things and 319712358 for changing frequencies, like what HSDPA or LTE to use... ect
If NOTE3 in Factory TEST MODE = FTM
Then all hidden keystrings are activated.

It is either this one: * # * # 4636 # * # *
or this one: @ lock screen "menu > back > back > menu > back > menu > menu > back"
I tried that. It seemed those code doesn't work for 2.3 any more. I also tried the *#*#7378423#*#* one and that doesn't work either.
the codes above/below works on 2.3.3
*#*#7378423#*#* <<<<< on 2.3 >>> service info
* # * # 4636 # * # * <<<< on 2.3 >> testing
or try this
up up down down left right left right B A select start..
when I type *#0011# we cant access full menu. How do I fix that. Press menu and back does nothing. Any suggestions. Im on MG1 for rogers

Hi all,
I am a bit new to this forum. So my apologies for any tips that i have not known yet
I got a note 4 from SK telecom KR (SM-N910S) unlocked verion running Octa core version. There are 3 issues currently exist on my phone. I am living in Australia btw.
1 : Every time the phone start up, it will ask me whether i want to enable networking or not and talking about roaming ??
2 : Sometimes MMS can not be sent, retry few time and its ok ?
3 : The networking on SM-N910S has a big issue for me, that model only has 2 kinds of network LTE/3G mode or 3G Only mode, on AU version we have GSM/WCDMA/3G/LTE etc so it look like i am missing WCDMA and 2G networks
My question is :
* How can i access the hidden menu for Note 4, i know there is a hidden menu somewhere on that phone allow me to change network mode
* Can i flash my phone with AU firmware to remove roaming message and other SK's stuffs. ??
I can list some of my phone info here

Not working
Hi,
For me is not working. I did that change, I have LTE connectivity (not 4g as I have on my note 3) but now I can't use the phone, only Internet. Any idee? I'm on Vodafone Romania.

4G and LTE is just preference in naming. If you choose 'LTE' option without 'preferred', it will fail to fallback to 3G to make a phone call. Different story if your carrier has VoLTE

note 4 hidden menu network settings
I got this note 4 off ebay and it kept wanting to roam, and not use my network preference. I went into the hidden menu and changed it to all LTE and it asked if i wanted to use my network data and i said yes. Fixed it and the roaming "r" went away, but......................it won't stay like this after you reboot the phone, it goes back to roaming again until you go back into the hidden menu and do it again. How can you get it to stay permanently?
Made a Mistake with Service Mode, LTE 4G is Down : I tried some option in Service Mode, and now i lost my LTE 4G Connexion…:crying:

Wonderfull ! this forum is awesome for found solution in very big problems since so many years !
I need to test a way to get rid of a huge battery drain that happens when using a data only sim card..
Both *#0011# and * # * # 197328640 # * # * are not working.
*#0011# is only giving me basic information no network menu.
* # * # 197328640 # * # * is not working at all
There is a blog post in japanese, that using Google translate I was able to read that changing a setting in
MAIN MENU [1] DEBUG SCREEN → [8] PHONE CONTROL → [7] NETWORK CONTROL → [3] SERVICE DOMAIN → [3] PS ONLY fixes my problem.
This problem is present on all android devices, all of them are showing as 100% no signal when in fact they work but only in data mode (no voice).
There is absolutely no way to get a voice sim card in japan if you are not japanese.... (law, yes really).
The phone is not rooted because I want Samsung pay if it ever works in this device.
I reported this bu both to Google and Samsung
