Hi guys,
after flashing the GE and the CM I'mthinking to flash back to the last 4.3 stock that is rolling out...
I think I'll do it with ODIN, and I'll get the terrible knox, right?
I'm thinking also to change my actual CSC from XXU to ITV since I live in Italy but... does this mean that my warrenty will be invalidated?
Does the sn or something else is associted to the original CSC and then in the repair center somen can understand that I've chenged the CSC?
Thanks!
Is it possible to flash a different firmware region in the note 3? My wife's device was bought here in Saudi Arabia and she wants the samsung hub to be in english.
Is it safe to flash a UK version for example?

Isn't this depending on your system language? Just asking. I prefer my gadgets to be English only and once I set it up this way in settings, I never ever read any UI thing in German. For me, some German translations just seem way off. So it's kind of hard to find the proper menus and such if they're not in English.

I cannot guarantee that. because I already tripped KNox counter before I flashed the UK version.

how'd you trip knox ?
Changing CSC shouldn't trip KNOX. There have been some reports of tripping KNOX with ODIN Stock re-flashes (this doesn't always happen) -
As for OP tripping KNOX, probably already tripped when rooting or installing custom recovery (like myself)
hi I have a sm-n900 and I bought it from DUBAI and in stay in INDIA. after some custom flashings I have lost my IMEI and baseband. but fortunately a Samsung service statition has put my KNOX back .so I have KNOX 0x0. but my CSC in recovery is showing csc:KSA. where as my Firmware is XSG. I am planning to send it to Dubai for claiming warranty. Will CSC make any difference or it's fine as it is.

CSC does not matter, what matters is Knox 0x0. But as you said, you have lost Imei, i am not sure how the service center in Dubai see that as, you can probably say when i was updating my software using kies it rebooted and this happened,
Dubai will not fix your problem under warranty if your csc is ksa, flashing stock xsg will not trip knox.

Hi there,
If i reflash original firmware with Odin (calling issues), I will trip knox?
I have I9505XXUFNB8. Is there a newer firmware for my country? (Romania)
Thanks

Hi,
As long as you use odin for flashing and that knox has not been trip knox bit will not be activated.
Flashing with Odin will not wipe the knox bit if it has been set

It's depend if your device is branded or no. (for example):
1. If your device is unlocked -> I9505XXUGNG8
2. Cosmote -> I9505XXUFNB8
3. Orange -> I9505XXUFNB9
4. Vodafone -> I9505XXUGNE8
More info: HERE :highfive:
My phone isn't branded, but i don't receive any update through OTA.
Thanks for replies, guys
Hi guys im thinking to get a S7 Edge in the UK and its on EE network but sim-unlocked.
If i flash the BTU UK firmware on it, will it trip the Knox counter? And affect my samsung warranty?
Im thinking to flash BTU as it has less bloatware and making it carrier free would mean i receive updates sooner also. Please let me know. Thanks

I flashed BTU on my EVR S7 and knox is still 0x0, however the EE firmware doesn't come with much bloatware, just the myEE app and Lookout.
You're right though, updates do come through a lot quicker on BTU then EVR

I also have an EVR SGS7 Edge and would like to debrand with BTU. Is this easy to do?
I bought a rooted S7 edge from eBay that was originally purchased from Samsung... When I first tried to return it to stock via odin and stock BTU the flash failed..... I think I got confused with csc and csc home (which I still don't understand as all my previous sammobile downloads never had csc home file )... So I eventually got it to flash but ended up somehow on VIR which I think is virgin.... Which has the slowest updates known to mankind.
I'd love a stock BTU phone but don't want to lose my existing setup or semi brick it again. It's the csc and csc home thing I don't get.

You should be able to flash BTU without issue. It also has WiFi calling built in now so you don't have to have EE firmware for it.
Won't trip knox so long as you are flashing stock firmware in Odin.
I believe csc wipes data whereas csc_home doesn't.
