Now that xposed is updated I really want to use the stock 4.4 ROM. I like the exchange setup with synced tasks with the stock ROM. I rely on this for work. The only thing that holds me back from using stock is that my company requires a pin lock for security with exchange. In aosp this can be bypassed with multiple xposed modules. Can some one figure this out for stock roms. I am aware that I can add stock email and bypass but that defeats my purpose of the syncing of tasks. There are other apps for the tasks but I like LGS setup. I would donate to anyone able to get this done. Thanks

Have you tried loving the email app over?
Actually the Flex Email app is my favorite.

I'm not sure what you mean. I like the app just looking for a way to bypass the lock screen security on stock Rom.

Its a real shame that this has not even been thought of being done. Does anyone know what would be involved in doing this? Is it a difficult thing to accomplish?

Bump!! I too would love to have the exchange pin code disabled with the LG stock email app. I've tried the xposed module that disable exchange security but I think that only applies to aosp email..

Am I missing something or is it Google, I can't find a way to search corporate Exchange directory for contacts with my nexus that are not on it yet? My Rezound can search for Exchange contacts and then add them to local contacts. Seems HTC has added a lot of little things that Google forgot.
Thanks

The HTC Sense Exchange support makes stock Android look like a joke, sadly.

Apparently auto sync needs to be enabled as without this, manual sync didn't work very well.

Yup. I believe all versions of Exchange 2k3 and above require autosync. Your SysAdmin should have let you know.
I just added an exchange account to my I9500 because I really need it but its a waste of time and I don't really like to use the PIN MANDATORY security.
Does anyone know how to avoid this requirement? I remember I installed a zip in my old SGS2 an it solved the problem, now I'd really appreciate avoiding it in my S4.
Thanks!

Use Touchdown from the Play Store. It's excellent and will solve your problem

Hi there, I am looking for a replacement maim client fully working with exchange to replace the stock one on my note 3. I love the programs installed on the HTC and Xperia 1. Are they available? Thanks in advance

No, I used stock mail client.

Yes the native mail client really sucks. Whenever I try move a mail to the folder it force closes.

There is an app in the Play store called "Enhanced Email" it doesn't have the aesthetics as others but it does what it does, very well.

Does anyone know of an IR app that will work other than the LG one ? Im running CM but I would love to have the remote function back. Thank you

IR is not just an app. It needs to be supported in the framework first.

I'm wondering about this too. Would Unified Remote work since it has IR functions now? I may just buy it and check because it's a great app regardless but if anyone knows of an alternative that does work with CyanogenMod I'd like to hear about it.

Read above, no IR app is going to work on any AOSP ROM at this point.
That's unfortunate. Back to stock I go then.

Doesn't the HTC One Google play edition have an IR remote app? (that is a question. I don't know)
Sent from my LG-D802 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
The HTC One Google Play edition does have an IR blaster app, but as stated previously no app can fix this - it is something that needs to be added into CM first.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.remotefairy I used this with sgs4, it's not compatible with LG g2, but developer said they working on it

Hi everyone,
I've recently updated to KitKat and everything seems to be fine. However, I really don't like the new email app (not that I like the old one) so I am just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for an email app that works with the multi window function?
I've tried a few but nothing works.
Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestions please do post anymore that you know about!
If you root you can add any app to multi window and even have 4 way multi window

Aquamail. It also allows access to my corporate mail without having to encrypt my tablet. Which is nice. The stock app couldn't do that and the company wanted me to use mobile iron which I understand to be terrible.
