RUU_Leo_1_5_TMOUS_2.13.531.1_Radio_Signed_15.39.50.07U_2.10.50.26_2_Ship
try reflash it again. if you can't boot it on, hold vol down + power.
i can not flash it caz it does not reconize the USB connection. when i plug the usb cable to computer, it does not show any link light.

did you try to plug the usb while on the boot screen? if not, turn it off, then hold vol down button + power buttons
reinstall stock rom with SD card.
so? did it work?
could be bent battery pin or discharged battery.
check pins, and if not that, leave battery out for half hour, then put on charge with wall charger. leave it alone to charge, don't be trying it "just to see" after 5 mins.
my phone is not reconizing USB.
i taken out the battery several time but it now seeing anything. . on the phone side, it does not show it is charning etc.
when i press "volume down + power ", nothing happens..
only thing happens when i connect USB, my PC is searching for the drivers
QUALCOMM MSN driver & i do hear the usb plug sound from my pc. when i run microsoft syn, it not seeing my phone.
any idea?
thanks

..and the screen stays black, right?
Are you sure you flashed that rom in your OP? cos that behavour sounds more like a non tmous radio, which bricks tmous phones.
Were you careful when flashing? if there are more than one nbh file in the folder when you run teh flash, it will flash the first one alphabetically.
yes, that is correct. it flashed it non tmobile ROM.
is there a way to roll back previous version ? or do anything to make my phone work again ?
no, radios with ..51.. in the version number kill tmous, No one has even managed to start the phone again, let alone fix it.
I'm trying with Atlas_v2.2.pit file but it just hangs on Set Partition. I left it overnight just in case, next morning it was still set partition. Using Odin 1.3 and latest SCH i500 drivers from Samsung website.
I also think there is something fundamentally wrong with my phone. I can't get the computer to see the download mode. IE if I connect without battery and press volume down, the phone goes into the download mode but computer and Odin don't see it. I have to:
1) put battery in
2) connect to the computer
3) wait until battery charge status shows up
4) do 3-finger salute
5) when screne goes off just hold volume down, the phone then goes into download mode (but computer still doesn't see it)
6) disconnect the usb cable (that's why battery must be in or otherwise phone would shut off)
7) reconnect usb cable
Then my computer sees it and I can then remove the battery, though I tried with battery in and with battery out, both with the same poor result. Looks like I'm screwed.
Ps. I tried this on four different computers with two different original samsung usb cables. In all cases the computers do not see the downloading mode unless I jump through hoops outlined above.

Try this. Pull the battery so its off. Put the battery back in. Hold volume down and then hold power for about 2 seconds and then release power. Download Mode screen should show up. connect to computer and see if Odin sees it.

Great news...bad news.
It worked! It actually formatted the phone and loaded a rom (loaded geewiz 1.1 by accident, wanted powerwashed 2.0).
The bad news is after I disconnected the phone it won't restart. It's actually worse than that. Before I'd get the phone icon, triangle, computer icon. Now nothing. Black screen and absolutely nothing. 3-finger salute doesn't work and I can no longer put battery in, hold volume, press power for 2 seconds and let it go while holding volume and getting phone into downloading mode. It's absolutely dead and even when I put it into charger, the green battery icon doesn't come up (battery was full by the way).
One other thing. With battery in, it won't go into download mode when hooked up to pc. Without battery it will go into download mode, but computer won't see it.
edit- nvm

Yeah. Sounds like the battery if it would go into download mode with the battery out.

But when it's in download mode and I put the battery in, I can unplug it from computer and it will stay in download mode on battery alone. Should I run it down and try to recharge it?

I know you said you tried this on four different computers with two different Samsung cables, but on all of said computers were you using XP, vista, win7? And were all of these PC's using Odin 1.3?
I use vista home basic and Odin v 1.7 and Odin always sees it without the battery...just throwing some stuff out there maybe try different Odin version or PC that has a different os?? mighty be worth trying??

Just xp and vista. I'll try Odin 1.7 on vista.

I thought my battery was bad but I got a new one and still can't start the phone or see a battery icon. Could it be damaged power button? Or maybe I screwed up boot loader with Heimdal?
Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
Is it a Samsung battery or a generic one?...I know some generic batteries have issues with these phones??
Have you tried using Odin to repartition with a pit file since getting your new battery...I don't know much about heimdall but from what I understand you should be able to use Odin if you can get to download mode
Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA App
Ok I feel stupid writing this, but turns out I was simply impatient and the new battery was simply discharged. Put it in, let it stay in the phone, battery icon showed up, charged it for a while, then went into download mode, re-partitioned and reloaded a rom and everything is back to normal.
I'd like to thank everyone, for your help.
Special thanks go out to times_infinity whose tip allowed me to connect the phone to the PC and have a reliable download mode operation.
Some time ago my nexus 7 powered off and didn't boot back or show the charging animation.

I have this exact problem. The tablet got worse and worse. I am fairly certain the usb port has faulted some how.
There is a thread here about charging problems and suggested fixes....
https://productforums.google.com/forum/m/#!msg/nexus/wrTqHYhS-Vw/aeh9wYrQYxUJ
While there is no definitive fix, the one that helped me.....i did not ever get completely flat battery like yourselves.... was charging through the pogo pins. The docks do this, i dont have a dock but managed to charge through a diy solution.
This is my first time posting here so hi everyone.
I have a problem with my moto g5+.
I purcased my moto g5+ around a year a go completely new and ended up not using it.
Now my primary device broke down and i thought its time to switch only one problem.
It won't turn on.
When I connect charger white led will consistantly blink but nothing else happens no battery charging screen , nothing.
It wasn't compleatly discharged since I charged it up till 100% and turned it off when I puted it away , i still did charge it a couple times during the year of not using it and last time was a month ago and it charged just fine.
No water or Physical Damage has been done to the phone no rooting also , it just wont turn on.
I tried hard reseting it , tried to hold power button for 5 min tried to enter boot loader to access recovery mode with no luck.
I used original charger and cable that came with phone to charge it.
Since warranty is out of the way by this point because i bought it in july im seeking a fix or recommendation here.
All help will be appreciated

It seems your device had hard bricked, you can recover it by using the blank flash file.
Here is the procedure:-
https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5-plus/help/moto-g5-plus-hard-bricked-recognized-t3636457
But, I don't understand how you are device got hard bricked as you need to downgrade or root it to get your device bricked. But you can recover it by above link.

Tried doing this methode but my pc wont reconize the device as connected , when i connected it to the pc it showed lightning symbol like charging , i left it to charge for 2h but still nothing.
In order to use blankflash successfully your PC needs to be in test mode. To do this
Code:
Click Start, and then type cmd in the Search box.
Under Programs, right-click cmd.exe, and then click Run as administrator.
At the command prompt, type the following text, and then press Enter: bcdedit /set TESTSIGNING OFF.
Close the Command Prompt window, and then restart your computer
When you plug in phone, look at device manager, ports, and see that it is connected. It should say something like "Qualcomm HS- USB Diagnostics " with a port "Comm 7" or whatever #.
1.Be sure Qualcomm drivers are installed.
2.Make sure your Hard Bricked Moto is connected in device manager under ports .
3.Hold volume down and power until you see it connect under ports. It should say "qhsusb-bulk" You should hear a slight sound from PC when it connects. This can be very tricky as another member [ Rakesh1b] explained his method.
trick is to press and hold the power button then it disconnects and connects to pc u could hear sound from pc then press voldown and power and launch blankflash.bat at the same time i mean same time then it detects and leave the buttons once you see the script running if not it will reboot the device and after running the script it will be booted to fastboot mode . if u failed 1st time repeat same power off then remaing things same as mentioned.

Good luck, as it is not an easy process. One time it took me nearly half an hour to time it right, to get blankflash to run successfully. Also I played with a phone that would never flash Vaches blankflash for the G5 + but had to use the one for addison, Moto Z play. When that happens you have to do the extra step of flashing the addison to potter files. Hopefully you won't have to do all that, but just warning that sometimes it is necessary. Like I posted before, in device manager on PC, make sure under ports it shows as qhsusb-bulk under the port it lists as. Also be sure you have adb/fastboot and all its drivers correctly installed. I am really curious as to how it got hard bricked, because even doing my test phone, it is difficult to hard brick it. I have this "test phone" that has a bad microphone, so I have run it through all kinds of crap, rather than jeopardise my every day phone.

If your phone was in oreo, you maybe want to try the addison (moto z play) blankflash, i once bricked mine and the potter blankflash always failed.
Also try the USB 2.0 ports, as the 3.0 ones doesn't recognizes it.
Put it on the charger and let it charge. IT could just be deader than disco.
Also check your cable make sure it's a data cable buddy.

Well good news is , that i manged to get it to show up as the device with which i should be able to do blank flash.
The problem now is it won't stay in bootloader to be recognized as that device longer than 30 sec.
It just turns off after some time and pc automaticly wont recognize it anymore.

Well managed to get it to point where my pc recognized phone as device buuut another thing came up. It only is recognized for max 30sec after witch phone gets disconected from pc. Any way to fix that? Or mby im doing something wrong here? I'm starting to consider battery replacment which i dont want to do because it awful to replace battery on this thing.
What is it recognised as? Battery replacement may save you from having to go through the blankflash process if the device will not stay on while plugged in. Only use blankflash if it shows as qhsusb-bulk.

yes it showed up like that but like I said it wont stay on. I remembered one time when I got it to work this month. I was able to boot in to android , factory reset it but the problem was as soon i pluged in the charger phone went from 44% up to 89% in 2 sec then droped to 14% and then to 0 and turned off. I was able to turn it on again after that , it showed 44% like before the charger was connected then I tried to charge it while it was off and since then I haven't been able to go past booting screen since it just turns off after like 30sec on boot screen.
Mby i should just buy a new battery and see if that will fix it.

I would recommend that or to take it to a service center. Using the blankflash method could brick the device forever (if it's just a battery/display problem), also you will have to live with another devices bootloader and resulting problems from that.

Well service center is out of the way since closest one to me is like 200km away . I should be able to replace it my self so no problems there. I just hope that maybe replacing the battery will fix everything since the phone is practicly brand new and it would be painful and expensive if it's not a battery problem but like motherboards or smth like that.

Reboot your pc, and connect the phone to the wall charger for about 10 minutes, then try again the blankflash, and when it's done just play around with the volume up/down buttons just to keep the bootloader on, and use the g5+ toolkit to flash the oreo stock firmware
in any case, this is the blankflash i used it

How did you managed to show it up as a device , i couldn't. I tried everything that i understood from written on these forums, installed qualcomm drivers , moto g5 plus drivers. The device doesn't show up in device manager, its just blinking and doesn't show anything else , i tried charging it overnight. The Led light does go away after a while when i put it o charging, but when i hold down the power button and volume down key it starts blinking again and nothing beyond that

Well for me it works like this , i leave it for about 12h (over night) untouched , then after that I can put it on charger and get in bootloader with holding down power button and vol down button at the same time. I have seen some other people that have revived their phones like this usualy they say to just leave it for 24h but for me it works after 12h. if u can get in to the bootloader
after those hours and the phone doesn't turn off (like mine) I would suggest that u leave it for charging in bootloader for atleast 2h and then try to power it on in factory mode thats how I got it to work one time. I hope this will help you.

A few points to clear with 12 hours untouched ,do you mean i have to left phone as it is without even charging and if so after 12 hours for how much time do you charge it before getting it to bootloader and did you charge it with the moto turbo charge or just a regular charger or with computer.
Hello All,
Yesterday I dropped my phone and the power button got stuck. I opened the phone with my tools and was able to fix the button. I didn't power it off, I didn't think it was needed since the button itself has nothing to do with the electronics inside. While I was closing its back It suddenly turned off. I was very gentle, didn't do any fast or unsafe moves. Since then the phone shows no sign of life. I plugged the phone the my pc but there wasn't any sign of life either. The phone didn't show up on Device Manager or anywhere else. One time, I heard a connection sound but I am not even sure if it was because of the phone since the sound came like 5 minutes after I plugged in the phone.
I already tried pressing all 3 buttons for a long time but it didn't do anything.
So what do you think? What might have caused it? And can you help me?
Thanks
First thing i would do is tear down and disconect/conect the battery flat. After that, hold volume keys while conect to pc usb and see if you can get edl mode. Than flash all that has to be flashed with miflash and edltools.
