Battd file for extended battery - Defy Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone
Few weeks ago i bought a 3000 mah battery from ebay, and since it arrived, i cant manage to find battd files for my defy which are suitable to the 3000mah
So right now my defy counts from 1700 mah and just keep on working on 1%
Does anyone have the suitable files or can teach me how to adjust those i have?
Thanks in advance

Anyone?

Those batteries are usually of lesser capacity, so it may be better to use a battd of lesser capacity. Not to mention the fact that there are no 3000 mAh battd files. Probably for the same reason

I gussed its not trully 3000mah but the biggest battd files i found were
for 1700mah, which i can confirm that the battery provides more than that, do you have maybe battd files for about 2200mah?

Maybe using the battd files from a Droid Razr HD (XT925 XT926), factory battery is 2540 mah.
I'm using a battd from Atrix 4G in a different Motorola and work fine. Atrix is 1930 mah.

Charging Battery

Hi people,
Got a issue with Q JB 28.11 build. It takes 4 to 5 to charge the phone. Is there any fix to it? Don't want to go back to CM7.

What?!?!? Do you have a 4000mah battery???
I' m on SB 3.0 with a 1700mah battery, and it takes 2-2:30 hours to charge (from 2% to 100%).
Did you change the CPU governor? I know that for me, smartass governor gives incorrect battery readings and sat at 65 percent charged when it was already fully charged.

It just 1500mAh. It doesn't make sense, isn't it? It hardly takes 2 hours in CM7.2. But on Q28.11, it takes forever.

Haven't made any changes to the governors. Is there a solution to it?

I also noticed this with the 04.12 build, it took forever for it to climb up to around 70%, but as soon as I connected it to my laptop, it said it was fully charged. No idea, what causes it. I still find that these JB builds are snappy and shiny and stuff, but I wouldn't take my phone outside the house while running these. After 9 months of White Rabbit usage I trust those better.
Did you try to reset the battery stats in recovery?
Or there might be a bug with this rom. The next one could be better?
By what method do you charge your phone, usb or charger? Charging is slower via usb

Lithium-polymer batteries charging

Hey guys ...
As you know this beloved phone has Li-polymer battery and I remember that once I had read that this kind of batteries have this possibility that for example even if they are not fully discharged, we can connect them to charger and it does not damage them and so on.
Is this true? Do you know about this?

It is even better for these batteries to not fully discharge.

Read this article, basically says everything you need to know
Just charge and use your phone normally, there are a lot of myths about batteries. One is the fact that if you discharge the battery to zero you can damage it. That's true at an electrical level, but your phone will report "zero" and turn off at a safe level, well before any potentially-damaging level.

will 3000 ma/h battery harm my device ?

hey people
i m thinking to get a 3000 ma/h battery from e-bay
just wanted to know
will it harm my device ?
please let me know

No it won't, but these batteries generally overrate their capacities and so the battery life may not be as good as you think.
Even if it is really that capacity it isn't going to harm your phone

The 3Ah battery is included in a phone cover. If is an internal battery is a FAKE!
No, this auxiliary battery do not harm but is not recognized correctly by the phone and need to modify the batt specification.
