i9505 S4 - ROM That you can move apps to SD Card - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys,
im currently running the jellybean app but it doesnt allow you to move apps to your sd card. Which roms can you as most dont make it very clear if they do or dont.

I use Android 4.2.2, And i can't use Link2SD to move data to SD card like you.
I thinks in ANdroid 4.2.2, Link2SD not work.

App2sd

hi everyone, im try to move some app on sd but cannot .. all install into internal 512..
how can solve this to move more app on sd?
tks
As Android is running from sd card, its pointless to move them.
i wanted to move games and apps to the SD as well to keep the phone memory free
Indeed I have same problem. Phone memory is iconic since it is still SD card (due to android running from SD card).
But even when the iconic phone memory is running out of space, android warns you as if it was real.

how to make the external micro sd card primary for everything

hey guys
is there a way to make the external micro SD card primary, and make everything download to it with out having to move apps to it manually...?
can understand why they would sell a tablet without a decent amount of memory...
I don't know how to move already installed apps to SD, but I think I have a solution for future installations of apps.
I have a special version of SpareParts that has an app2sd option and you can set that to external. Maybe this option is already working and you actually don't need SpareParts, don't know for sure.
WARNING: Some apps have widgets/persistent notification process or have a background process running. These apps should NOT be on external storage (microSD card)!
You will need to go thru each app and decide for yourself if it can be on your SD card!

[Q] Cyanogenmod 10.2 SD Card help!!

Hi, I have a rooted Sprint Galaxy S4, and have been unable to find a simple answer on how to move my apps to my SD Card. It is obviously not built into CM, but I can't seem to find any apps that work for it. I tried Foldermount and Link2SD, but they both required an SD Partition or something, and all the ways to do that seemed way too complicated. Has anyone been able to find out about SD Card moving? I find it really annoying that on CM I only have 9GB of space built in, and now with my apps I only have 6GB of space... Please help, I really don't want to go back to Touch Wiz!!!
6GB is plenty. Put your media files on the SD card.

[Q] How can I transfer my apps to sd.

How can I transfer my apps to my SD Card ? Currently all the data is in the internal memory, I don't want that. Also how can I make the camera to save pictures to the SD Card ? I'm running BDITA 4.4.4 Rom v2.2.

Don't think about it. This change is now full and final. Its going to be a part of future android versions. You can copy/move data. So do it.
There are some methods through them you will be able to use this "apps 2 sd" function but they have some risks. You can brick your MMC or you can hard brick your mobile. So i suggest you to live with this new system.
