Mine also no 4G written on the back. But no big deal, as long as I can connect to LTE network. That's more important rather than a word "4G".
And made in which country also not a big deal, as we know, Samsung has some factories spread in Asia country. Mine is written made in vietnam. My friend has 1 written made in Thailand. I got another friend written Made for Europe Countries.
It's only a box, as long as your IMEI is correct, there's nothing to worry about I guess.
Cheers.
Thanks man . I was a little bit worried about it. I've heard somewhere that made by Samsung is like made in China or India. At the moment I returned it waiting for a replacement. If it didn't work I'll just keep it.
Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
Why have you returned it? Sounds like you have a genuine device. My first n9005 came form malaysia (was meant to be europe, damn amazon) and had the ugly 4g logo on the back so i instantly returned ot and got a BTU model with a nice clean back
Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
I thought only the US branded devices had 4G in the back?
None of the EU N9005s have anything other than 'Samsung' on the back, and they're all 'Made By Samsung'. I spend 3 days scouring the box for a made in text after someone asked where they all came from, no such info on EU boxes.

i think it is normal in my region. I have note 3 4g but no 4g symbol on the back cover.
Took it back and it's working normally with 4g lte network

First: I assume you are in Malaysia
second: your device CSC shows it is for Indonesia (as per sammobile.com)
Third: Where did you but it from? (Authorized Samsung outlets or any electronics outlets)
Same with mine..bought from samsung outlet

If you bought it from samsung outlet than there will be no problem if u need to claim warranty from samsung. The only thing is with indonesian CSC code I wonder if your modem firmware is optimise for other Telcos outside indonesia.

Don't worry bro I've heard that the best ones are made there because the manufacturing process have been perfected over time.
Vietnam ones in the other case are said to be the worse cause they are the ones of the newer factories that haven't perfected the process. Idk if true

Beneath the battery. You have to take the battery out.
Phone: Vietnam
Battery: korea
mine just says made by samsung....we do not have a law that must state the country of manufacturing here..I guess thats why

Assembled in Vietnam.
Most devices are made in China, but manufacturers are gradually moving to SEA as wages in China are rising at a faster rate than SEA countries.

Made in China and probably explains why the POS has multi-touch issue when my Made in Korea Note 2 is flawless. Seriously considering returning it within the return period and looking for a Made in Korea unit.

I'm getting my Note today but I wonder if I purchase from Amazon Germany or Italy would the warranty be valid in my country (Ireland). Whats your experience?

Europe phones have europe warranty. So its valid within europe
Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
Yes, it's valid. But you will be required to send it back to the shop you bought it from if it breaks.

You can give it to any official resale shop of Samsung. You don't need to send it back to the shop you bought it

That's not ever been a requirement in my experience. Samsung deal directly with me on warranty issues & that's same whether I am or not the original owner of the handset as long as it's within the 2 yr warranty.
The warranty is with Samsung.

Mine is on the way, began its trek from South Korea this morning,ETA of 10/14/16.
I strongly feel there are some internal hardware differences between the "Made in China and Made in India variants . These differences especially seem to be network (4g) related .People having the China variant are more often reporting network issues in India
I tried asking this in the MI forum twice but my post was blocked by the moderator ,which adds to the suspicion . Any one has an idea on this ?

Mine is made in India and i was facing LTE issues with september update, but after october update it just got solved
Unless there are specific parts that are made in India...they are the same parts in the Chinese made versions...just shipped to and assembled in India.
I still have network issues .Jio doesn't reconnect after coming out of a bad signal area. Need to toggle airplane mode. Yesterday I had data problems , had to reboot phone
