Custom auto-brightness app

Hi everybody,
I have searched everywhere but wasnt able to find any app which can modify auto brightness setting similar to cyanogen built in advanced settings. Only thing I need is to set lowest backlight level and than leave it on auto. Many roms I have tried are too dark on lowest level for me. I have noticed that sense roms are brighter on lowest auto level but I prefer non sense roms..Is it imposible to make app which can modify auto backlight setting? Thanks
Im interested too, since I change to Sense based rom (Aura)
try Lux auto brightness

[Q] ARC S auto brightness

how to setting autobrightness on ARC S?
I dont know how to activate it.
ARC S has ambient light sensor, right?
It is activated by default. The brightness slider changes the range of brightness the auto brightness can change.

[Q] Auto brightness too dim even at +5

Hi to all,
i own an i9505 with (rooted) XXUAMDM firmware and in my opinion auto brightness is too dim even at +5; is there a tweak (for rooted) to increase brightness values without disable auto brightness feature?
(Of course Power saving mode is disabled and i have tried with "Auto adjust screen tone" on and off with no results)
Are auto brightness default values enough bright for you?
It's the same for me with ME2

Nobody has a solution? I also tested PlayStore's autobrightness apps but they are not faithfuls to light changes like stock one. It would be perfect to add "X" units to every value on stock autobrightness... but unfortunately i'm not able to do that... please devs help me/us
fix
I found a solution,
Go into Settings > My device> Display > Screen Mode>
Uncheck Adapt Display then choose Dynamic.
This should fix the issue.

I'm already on "Dynamic Mode" but it has no effect on brightness, i noticed only more vivid colors
It works on my I9505..

Go into settings>My device> and find "Power saving mode" and disable it if its enabled.
Doing this might solve your auto brightness issue.
Good luck!
Nah I've gotten used to it by now.
I only get the dimming thing when I switch to and from Google apps like Chrome.

I had the same problem but you can sort it out if you're rooted and using STweaks:
Set 'Brightness Reduction' to 0 under 'screen' settings
Dimming Problem
Hi,
I would appreciate if you guys could give my app a try. Even if you found a workaround...
It's an easy to use application that allow you to manage your screen and can allow you to stop it from dimming.
It can be configured for specific apps also. Please give me your feedback!

[Request] Automatic Brightness Levels

I've been checking around for a way to add/remove automatic brightness levels in the level settings under display>automatic brightness but I haven't found any (both online and on my Nexus 5). I remember the CM settings looking similar to this but with the ability to change how many levels it uses. Holding just allows one to change the lux and the slider is the brightness.

We had this in 4.3 but I don't know if it's been reimplemented on 4.4 yet.
