Hangs on incoming call

Hi,
1. On some incoming calls my mobile(P3400) hangs and im not able to attend call. i need 2 soft reset mobile and call them back.
2. Some time my friends tell me that they have been calling me for more than twice and im not getting any call alert from them.
Is there any solution

Not sure if you're using S2U2 (A_C's Slide 2 Unlock v2.0 software), but he has just updated it to v0.99p, and it appears to fix an issue which sounds similar to the one that you're experiencing:
"Just a minor update of S2U2 to v0.99p... (pls note the on-screen version no is still v0.99)
- added support to S2P (Slide2Play) - does not suspend the system when S2P is running.
- fixed a possible system hang up when an incoming call arrives after the device has been sleept for a long while.
- some minor bugs fixed."
If you are using S2U2, I would suggest upgrading it to the latest version, then checking if your issues still occur.
That's about all I can think of...

Im not using S2u2....
Even after making Hard reset the problem occurs....... & thanks for ur reply

i used to have that same problem.. but now i think it is gone..dont know how..
you can post this in gene section.. may be someone there knows..

This is my first thread at this forum...
I have htc mega and i have some strange problem with it...
Seems like when i talking over phone i accedently touch touchscreen with ear and call in terminated...
that is very big problem for me becouse i use mega with my bussiness SIM card and my clients are suprised for droping calls from my side...

Hi, welcome to the forums
Maybe is that you are pressing too much your phone to your face / ear while you are talking.

Is there any way to avoid this ? with some program or similar

You can try PhonEx. i think it got back screen off option while your phone is connected. So you can avoid call ended button pressing problem.

you can try s2u2.it has the black screen on talk option in settings.hope it will help you solve your problem..it worked for me

Problem with calls in Android

Hi guys.
I have a HTC HD2 with Android 1.5 installed in SD.
When i put:
- -=MDJ FroYo HD v.4.4=-[kernel:MDJ S7.6HD]
- [Core Droid HD V0.3][Froyo / HD Sense][Hastarin R8.5.3]
- beta Desire HD2
- Core_Droid_HD_V0.3_Release_Version
- etc, etc
I call at contacts and phone put black screen. When finish call, the screen, not change, his color is black and i need that 1 friend call me for the screen put on and quit black screen.
Have solution this problem? I like put other build but i cant because this problem in all calls

I am using currently modified version of speaker shake from this thread and it always wakes up phone after call, for me sufficient workaround

[ROM] CM9 4.0.4 ICS HTC HD Mini Blank Screen and Volume Problem while InCall

Hi Im new here pardon me for posting this I don't know where will post a comment for [ROM] CM9 4.0.4 ICS HTC HD Mini By munjeni.
I have tried some of the version of android for HTC HD Mini and now Im using the version the CM9 4.0.4 ICS by munjeni, and these are some of my experience with this ROM.
1. Blank Screen still occurs even when Im using 2G only.
2. When Im in call and then press the screen the volume drop and i need to press the volume up or down to normalize the volume.
3. When someone call me I can hear them but they do not hear me but when I end the call and call them then it will work just fine.
4. When using the earphone in a call after you hangup/end the call the music player automatically play (is this normal in this version?)
5. When I turn on the WiFi it will drain the battery so fast and even when I turn off the WiFi it will continue to drain the battery so fast I need to reboot the phone to return to the normal battery consumption.
6. When turn on WiFi and plug the charger it will get so much heat I know it will generated extra heat and that normal but I think with this temperature it not normal because it really turn so hot.
these are some of my experience using this ROM everyday use.

I will attach a logcat if it I will help you.
I only hope that a single ROM can work 100% for this device.

Mic muted in call solution
Hi all, I can't write in the Android development forum yet, so I decided to write it here. The problem that somebody has about not being heard when the phone is in silence mode and you receive a call can be solved exactly at that time; When your caller doesn't hear you, look at the screen and activate the SPEAKER button, inmediatly deactivate it. The other will hear you now. Try it.
If that works for you and you can post it in the original post for me (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1625638), i'll be grateful.

thanks for the reply that helps e a lot. Its the only fault in this great version i could find up to now.
Is there still development activity on this version that could fix this problem one day?
Or does anybody have any idea how to fix it myself, by an app for example which runs in backround and permanently sets the mic to unmute?

I shall try this one when it happen again, but when it happen even the phone is not in silent mode but i shall try this when it happen beacause it does not always occur.

Hello,
can anyone help me to turn off haptic feedback when I start or during the call when I move the phone from my ear?
I'm with HTC HD2 - TyphooN CyanogenMod 7 (v3.8.8: Updated to 20120805 nightly.)

SOLVED - changed Profile...return Default profile....
