There was one in the works, not sure if it has been merged yet though. Check out CM's commits/merges etc.

Yes, there is. It is called Screencast video recording. Look it up in the Market. I've tried it, it works pretty good.
I think shoot me had an update allowing it to record screen casts as well.

Have you streamed any videos? Youtube? Etc?
When you use youtube app only the app browsing is recorded by the youtube app, if you actually play a video it is recorded by android os not youtube app.
You should actually stop doing so many speed tests!

I actually figured it out. I had used that much YouTube data earlier and I uninstalled it to install a modded YouTube. The new YouTube is considered a new entry, while old YouTube became part of android os.
I noticed that the native S3 video player has a snap shot option to take pictures directly from a movie. Where has this gone in the S4 player?
While playing a video, go to menu>settings>capture>on
