Have you streamed any videos? Youtube? Etc?
When you use youtube app only the app browsing is recorded by the youtube app, if you actually play a video it is recorded by android os not youtube app.
You should actually stop doing so many speed tests!

I actually figured it out. I had used that much YouTube data earlier and I uninstalled it to install a modded YouTube. The new YouTube is considered a new entry, while old YouTube became part of android os.

Stupid app won't let you upload large videos. What do I have unlimited for? The n1 and i8910 had no such limitations. On top of which the YouTube website upload app also doesn't work on the phone !

I don't have any issues and I'm using slow 3g service. No wifi and watching on HQ setting!

Do you watch a lot of YouTube? For some reason all my YouTube and maybe other apps data fall under Android OS. I know for sure that I used more than that for YouTube, maps, and Yahoo mail.

Having the same problem. Ticking the "high quality" box in settings only plays videos in HQ while on HSPA+ data. They play in HD while on WiFi, though.

briefly noticed 2 HD sample videos in the Gallery (one was scenes of Paris) before performing factory reset and now they are not there. does anybody know if they just come preinstalled with T-Mobile version and not part of the rom?
I have the Sprint version and it had 2 sample HD videos.

Oh really? I tried to play with them with other media players and the wouldn't play. They only played using the stock app.
