UK Wall Charger Question - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I bought my Note 3 from France and therefore it came with an Euro plug.
I purchased a "Genuine Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N9000/N9005 Mains Travel Adapter Charger" from Amazon market place. The item arrived today but the model is ETA-U90UWE and has an 5.0v output. Appears to be the charger for the Note 2!
Those who have the official UK charger, can you tell me the model number please?
Thanks in advance.

Exactly the same model number for me bought my BTU N9005 in december. Looks exactly the same as the one i got in the sealed box with my phone.

Thank you for replying.
The model which outputs 2A @5.3v is EP-TA10UWE
The supplier has accepted a return and has advised to send the right charger.
I am not 100% confident these chargers are genuine but rather really good clones. Samsung don't even sell the EP-TA10UWE but they sell the 2A @5.0v ETA-U90UWE for £20!

Charging a US N7 in Europe

Hi Guys!
I am pretty new on this forum, although i have been on xda years ago when i used windows mobile. Now i am proudly owner of a Nexus 7 16gb. I got this pre-ordered on the day Google announced it, and got my sister to bring it to me in the Netherlands. I own a C60, with pretty much no flaws except a very tiny screen lift which doesnt bother me.
Well, I started this topic because of the following:
Since I got the US version, it also came with the US wall charger wich doesnt work in the Netherlands.
Therefore i recently ordered a original EU wall charger to charge my Nexus 7. Charging with my laptop takes forever, wich seems to be a common problem with this nexus. Also other wall chargers don't work (dont show charge, or trickle charge. anyways, it takes forever).
Now i got this US > EU converter thing, so i can also use the US wall charger that came with my Nexus.
Since im now i cant post a picture of this converter, but its the first thing that shows up when u google: us eu converter
Only thing i am concerned about is the voltage. I got this simple converter wich only converts the plug type.
I have been told since im going from US (110v) to EU (220v), there shouldnt be any problems charging it using this converter.
But just to be sure, i would like to hear your opinions Is the original US wall charger compatible with 220v?
Thanks a lot!
You will be alright using the adapter. A friend of mine bought the nexus in the US and he uses one of those adapters to convert it to a EU adapter. The flat adapters will work in all of EU the round adapters will sometimes not fit in South European countries like Spain

Alright thanks!
So it will not be risky to charge with? I know it will charge with the converter, but is it safe for my Nexus?
Im asking this because i have already ordered a original EU Asus wall charger, it is not like i need it desperately to work.
But if i can use both EU and US charger with converter, it would be very convenient for when im not at home.

No risk at all. The charger will use the amount of power the nexus 7 needs to safely charge itself.

Charging a USA Purchased Nexus in Thailand?

I'm heading to Thailand in a few weeks. Can I safely plug my USA purchased Nexus 7 directly into a 240v outlet in Thailand? It says 100-240v on the adapter but I've never done it before and I'm really nervous about smoking my beloved tablet. I could use a little reassurance from someone who has used theirs in both 120v US outlets and 240v overseas outlets. Thanks!
Sawadeekap... I lived 4 years in thailand and plug there accept usa and eu.... Never had any problems with shaver, and laptop, and cell phone...
Your Nexus 7 won't have any problem....
My n7 is from usa with usa charger and i charge it on 220v.
Go for it.
sawadee ka swisstourist,
I appreciate the reply, that makes me feel much better.

Genuine s8 wall charger - can't find

Hello
I'm struggling to buy a genuine Samsung wall charger (UK plug). I spoke to Samsung UK who said they don't stock it and it's very hard to know whether eBay or Amazon ones are genuine. Amazon itself isn't selling one either.
I have checked through Samsung genuine part seller sites and they don't stock one. I have got two wireless chargers and need genuine adaptive fast charger to go with one of them.
Can someone help me with info on where to find one.

20W Wireless Charger

Does anyone know where the new wireless 20 watt charger for Note 10+ (with US plug) can be bought from, or at least pre-ordered? It seems unlike the phone itself, it was announced but haven't been made available. Please post links if you've seen an online store that has it for sale.

That would be the one I'm asking about, thanks. It's actually a 20W wireless charger, not 15W. This phone arena link explains the reason it's listed at 15W only is because FCC is slow and lazy, and they don't even have a 20W certification process for wireless chargers, and they only moved from 5W to 15W last year, so they were able to certify the charger for 15W only. Also Roland Quandt, the guy who originally leaked this charger says he's personally witnessed this charger working at 20W charging rate.
best buy have them in stock already you can have it shipped
