The edge spectrum is being updated to LTE. Will be complete by mid 2015.

Anyone know if Atrix 4g supports LTE as well? or Only HSPA+?
It would be a waste of money if the phone didn't support LTE and we have to get a new phone later this year to for LTE.
No LTE. It'll be a year at least until there's any solid LTE coverage so I'm not worried about it.
Frequency History from T-Mobile
HSPA/HSPA+ "4G" upgrade
The company has begun rolling out its HSPA+ capabilities throughout its cellular network, planning to complete an upgrade of the entire network by the end of 2010, covering 185 million potential subscribers. It is marketing its HSPA+ services as 4G. The company claims its HSPA+ is currently[when?] faster than Clearwire's 4G WiMAX. On September 2, 2009, Nokia launched the N900, which was the first device to support HSPA 10.2.[41]
On June 28, 2010, the company announced that it will begin to upgrade the network from HSPA+ 21 to HSPA+ 42 beginning sometime in 2011.[42] T-Mobile is marketing its HSPA+ services as 4G.
4G LTE upgrade
On February 23, 2012, during the Q4 Earnings Call, T-Mobile laid out the future of their 4G upgrade path. They will roll out the LTE network on the AWS spectrum, and transition their 1700MHz HSPA+ network to the PCS band 1900MHz and their LTE will be roll to the AWS 1700MHz Band. To achieve compatibility with other networks and phones in the USA, T-Mobile plans to begin this transition in early 2013.[43]
On August 21, 2012, The FCC approved a deal between T-Mobile and Verizon in which T-Mobile gains additional AWS spectrum licenses in 125 Cellular Market Areas.[44]

I hope this squashes some of those questions about "Does it work on T-Mobile LTE?".
Hi,
I am looking to buy a factory unlocked G2 and flashing custom rom on it like CM10.2, and use it on T-mobile. Just want to make sure I could get LTE speed, correct?
Currently on Nexus 4 on T-mobile monthly 4g, enjoying LTE 4G speed, so, just want to be sure...
I would suggest you still buy the T-Mobile version, depending on what's important to you. As far as I know, the AT&T version doesn't have 1700mhz AWS band for HSPA+ to fall back onto if you don't have LTE. The two devices (D800 and D801) both have the same LTE bands.
Which version are you considering? I don't know if any of the other versions work on T-Mobile's Band 4 LTE, but when I checked a few weeks back, they didn't. You may be stuck with a T-Mobile version.

Factory unlocked, e.g. : http://www.amazon.com/LG-G2-32GB-Un...qid=1382743380&sr=8-3&keywords=unlocked+lg+g2
The specs listed on that page for LTE are:
4G Network LTE 850 / 1800
Neither of those are T-Mobile bands in the US. Are you planning to use it in the US, or T-Mobile in another country like the UK? I think the UK uses 1800mhz, but I'm just speculating at this point. Sorry I can't be more help!

Has anyone been able to get LTE to work on the Verizon Galaxy Note 3 on crickets network, LTE is available in my area and it is a LTE compatible sim. All I'm getting it HSPA+, is their a workaround or trick to get LTE? Thanks for any and all help!
Note 3 doesn't have same lte bands as AT&T. It does have same as T-Mobile.
Any updates to this for First Quarter of 2017? and if so which US Cellular LTE Bands will T-Mobile be able to Roam on?
