Hi, just got an xt321 second hand. The current software is:
Android: 2.3.6
Kernel version: 2.6.38.6+
Build Number: 05.28.0B
Flex Version IRD_SEA_Retail_v9_0516_FLEXTNBST
Baseband version: 76XXU-USMEKOLYM-109806-7622
Software version: TNBST_4_05.28.0BRPD
Looking around, I can see SBFs for the UK (here), including:
TNBST_4_0A.21.21RPS_flex_WE_RTGB_v14_0512_NOAPR_sec_20120514, and
TNBST_4_0A.21.0ERPS_flex_WE_RTGB_v13_0323_NOAPR_sec_20120323
...which look like March & May 2012. Is the software I have currently installed the most recent/up to date?
Thanks

so even the strange parts like:
"2.6.27-8dd6deee

and
"CL#61267 release-keys"
are exactly the same?
I just got my new Hero and a newbie to android. Its factory unlocked, non-branded. I have
Baseband version
63.18.55.06U_6.35.04.25
Kernel
2.6.27-a5504199
[email protected] #521
Build number
1.76.405.6 146733 CL#47214 release-keys
Software version
1.0.0.A6288
Is this the new version. How can I upgrade. Please direct me.
1.76 is definitely the old/original version, update that, either by looking into MoDaCo's updates (in the Hero Android Development forum on these forums) or get the official 2.73 RUU (I think its available from HTC Now).

As a matter of fact yes.
thanks for clearing that up.
so i don't have to setup my hero for the third time. (first leaked ruu update didnt work so well - had some connection issues- then i made a hard reset and reflashed the rom with the leaked ruu). so i had to setup the device twice.
using HTC Wildfire in pakistan with software information:
Firmware version: 2.1-update1
baseband version: 13.45.55.24H_3.35.15.31
Kernel version: 2.6.29-c9472fc1
[email protected] #1
build number: 1.25.708.2 CL227575 release-keys
software version: 1.25.708.2
whenever i check for System software updates there was no update for my phone.
now how to update to Froyo 2.2?
whats the problem with my phone?
froyo is not yet available for your country... and you better reconsider updating to froyo, because you will not be able to root...

froyo update is not available for our country. as u might know that are very few phones that HTC has officially launched in pakistan and wildfire is not in that list.
however, i would recommend you to flash a custom ROM. because after an official update to froyo, you can not root your phone.
I am a noob on using ATRIX and the follows are the detail of my phone:
System Version: 45.0.7.MB860.Orange.en.FR
Model Number: MB860
Android Version: 2.3.4
Baseband Version: n_02.77.03s.qn
Webtop Version: WT-1.2.0-121
Kernel Version: 2.6.32.9 [email protected] #2
APflex Version: GAS_EMEA_USAOLYPGBORAFR_P003
GAS_EMEA_USAOLYPORAFR_A009
GAS_EMEA_USAOLYPORACOREEU_M001
Build number: 4.5.2A-11_OLE-7
However, it doesn't work greatly:
No fingerprint AND seldom reboot automatically
And my backup file of official HKTW 2.3.4 has lost (don't know why)
I hope anyone who have official HKTW 2.3.4 can upload your backup file
Or the ROM to official HKTW 2.3.4^^ (NOT the test one)
At last, can I change back the model number to ME860??
Thx for your helping and sorry for the poor English^^

DFP-231 is your firmware version. You have bootloader version 7
I have found here sbf.gz files but none of them are the "45.0.2310.MB526.MERetail.en.06" that my phone has. I`ve also found this list, but I don`t know which of those is mine.
Can I find it somewhere else, or is one of those from the links, mine and I don`t know it?

I have started the Bootloader and it is vertion 9.10
The bootloader version IS 7-this just means you can't go back to froyo. The sbf for your phone is at: http://sbf.droid-developers.org/umts_jordanplus/list.php and the file name is dfp231, and from them you can select one of your region.

Hey there xda.
I received this Galaxy S4 from a friend of mine who I no longer have contact with. For a while, I've tried upgrading from 4.3 to 4.4 using the regular in-phone option with no luck. It goes through the download and installation and optimization of apps but it still stays at 4.3. My friend had told me he had rooted and messed with the software on the phone but that it should be fine. I just can't seem to get the automatic update to work.
When I look in the 'About Phone' option, I see the following:
Software Version: L720VPUEMJA
Hardware Version: L720.08
Model Number: SPH-L720
Android Version: 4.3
Baseband Version: :720VPUEMJA
Kernal Version: 3.4.0-1927016

Build Number: JSS15J.L720VPUEMK2
SELinux Status: Enforcing
SEPF_SPH-L720_4.3_0024
How do I go about manually updating to the most recent version of Android? I'm a complete noob with this and have never done it before. Can anyone point me to things I need to download and the steps I need to follow to upgrade?
