Hi,
My note 3 on the Three uk network does not reconnect data automatically after coming out of a area with no signel just stays in emergancy calls only until i either restart the phone or put it into flight mode and out again really really annoying. At work i get no signal and after finishing unless i remember to toggle flight mode i will not recive any text or phone calls until i do meaning i miss stuff.
Anyone getting really annoying having to put into flight mode and out about 5 times a day now!

i am having a problem with Direct Push. It resets phone connection, and disconncets me in the middle of a call. I will go from full bars to it looking for a connection in an area i know is fine. A few seconds and i have full bars again. Its really irritating. The only time this doesnt happen is when direct push is off. anyone have any ideas.
I've noticed this too. When I go to bed with DirectPush enabled, when I wake up my phone shows full bars, no missed calls or texts. But if I check voicemail, I'll have had a ton of calls that never got through. Sometimes I even have to reset the phone to use it again at all.
VERY big problem, so I've disabled it for now. Anyone else seen this?
Hi,
Does anyone know some tool or app, which can control/use the strenght of GSM reception and turn the phone off (flight mode) when there is no reception to save device''s battery, to let the device stop trying searching for the signal.
you can disconnect the phone function in "comm manager" puts it into "flight mode" by clicking the phone icon. you get a reminder in the top bar to tell you the phone is off.
its also good to disable wifi too in the same page, as that also keeps searching, wasting battery.
Yeha.
This, i do manage manually.
But I am talking about something automatically.
There is something similar on SonyEricsson mobile phones. When the reception is very poor, it goes to "Emergency Calls Only" mode and it saves battery. At the moment the reception improves, it goes to regular standart mode...
Has anyone else had this problem? Occasionally, I'll find that I can't send/receive sms or phone calls unless I toggle airplane mode or reboot. My phone will show a strong signal, and the status shows the signal strength changing, so I know the modem isn't locked up.
If this has happened to you, did you find a fix (and what was it)?
Using Good Lock, I don't see any notification about WiFi calling being turned on. I didn't care until earlier today when I apparently lost WiFi calling for a while without knowing it (the phone didn't respond to incoming calls, and when I eventually tried I couldn't make an outgoing call, even though the phone had a strong WiFi connection). I force WiFi calling by turning on Airplane Mode, then re-enabling WiFi (which Airplane Mode initially turns off).
So it would be useful to have a WiFi Calling notification icon, which I seem to recall from before I started using Good Lock. Is there any way to keep Good Lock but get that notification icon back?
Is there a way to automatically toggle on than off the airplane mode when signal is lost ive had a issue on Verizon where when i loose signal it doesn't automatically come back until i toggle airplane mode on than off so im trying to find a way to make my phone do this as soon as i loose signal I cant figure Tasker out and every other app doesnt work right
Tasker used to be able to do things like this..
Might be worth a shot
