Hey everyone, I'm having GPS problems. The thing is, the GPS NEVER locks. The only way it knows where I am (off by many miles) is by network location. I have tried gps status reset, but it always says 0 satellites. My friends s4 locks and maintains lock instantly.
Any help/ideas? I'm on the NB1 modem

It sounds like you have a hardware issue. Odin back to stock, if you still have the issue it's most probably hardware.

Hi, i just updated my nexus 4 to 4.2.2 and it deleted all the system ringtones. I'm stock, no rooting, nothing. How can they be restored back or how can I install the 4.2.2 update again.
Thank you!!!

Stay away from 4.2.2 for now. It's making nexus 4 unusable. The problem is how much time they will take to fix the issue.

Mine is running perfectly on 4.2.2.

Issue fixed, restarted in recovery, and then reboot, when it turned on, all my ringtones were back.

This is incorrect. I'm on 4.2.2 and my device is running great!

Running 4.2.2 just fine.. Where did you get your "information" from?
Sv: Nexus 4 4.2.2 update deleted all ringtones
It is not unstable. I have 4.2.2 running on the Nexus 7 and Nexus 4. None is unstable.

Me and my brother had the same issue, after the update the phone restarted, and no ringtones were available. After the restart all went back to work.
All the sudden Watch On app is turning itself on and showing in the notifications area. I turn it off(tell it not to) but when I restart it's back. What happened? Fix?
Thanks.

Check your settings and disable the "show remote in notifications"

Thanks, but that's what I have tried 6 times now. It automatically puts it back on restart.
Please help.

I came here and was just about to ask the same question. I could not figure out why this thing was always on in the notifications and status bar!

That is weird because I use my watch on app all the time. I disabled the notification from settings once and it stayed true. Are you running a custom ROM? I'm on ShoStock v2.0.

Not rooted. All stock.

I am running SHOstock 2 and it happens to me too.
I reported it to samsung, you should too,
in the Settings near the bottom
Send feedback or get help
Report this faulty app Please!!!!
fix
Unless Samsung has updated the app behind the scenes.
This seems to have fixed the issue:
Under settings go into your applications
go to Samsung Watchon and hit the clear button,
Yes, you will have to re-setup your TV\Cable,
but the checkbox does not reset now.
I emailed them about the issue. You can report bugs from the app. I suggest everyone do the same

Does opening the Camera App result in a black screen and/or freeze your phone?
Wondering if this is just an issue with my phone or some kind of bug with this phone?
This happens to me 1-2 times a week.
My camera has been acting weird since updating

That is strange. Maybe you should root it and put a rom on it I have never had that issue

I am on MJE and do not have any issues with my stock camera. I am also completely stock. Maybe trying a reboot will help

I am still on stock MJE and the camera is working fine. No other issues to report

I cleared the camera apps cache and it has not happened since.
My S4 is acting crazy lately. Seemingly randomly several download icons show up in my notification area. And it's old downloads that have been moved or deleted. Any idea what's going on? Thanks.
are you rooted with a custom recovery/rom
what's your build
what have you done to fix it
I'm rooted with stock and safestrap. It's 4.3 mk2. And since I have no idea what's going on I've done nothing to try to fix it.

Still looking for help with this one. It used to happen just once in a while but now it's like this almost all the time. Very annoying.

Thanks for the replies but my problem has gone away, per se. I ended up accidentally knocking the S4 off my desk at work and cracked the screen and screwed up the display. Now I have a S5 Active. Thanks again.
