Im playing very often games on my S4. After 30-60 minutes (depending on game) my S4 is getting very hot.
Sometimes so hot i can't touch the screen anymore.
Do you have the same problems? Or is it just me

Same problems for everyone welcome to the gs4 world. Suggest you get a better case for your phone.

Ok i will look for another case.
Can it be dangerous for the device? Can it break because of this?
Sent from my GT-I9505 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
If it gets 'too' hot in theory it should power off, so it shouldn't break the device.

Yup man...its disgusting da way it heats up after playing just 10 mins of rr3 or other high end games......

if gaming performance is dropping after 4.4,then there is no going back to 4.3,damn im almost thinking of upgrade my futuer note 3 to KK.
Oh yes try PurePerformances Mod if you haven't tried it yet.
@Towle mate, please move thread to appropriate place.
I am on the latest official kiktkat. Played mc4 for over an hour today, no problems at all, just a warm phone.

Well i would suggest trying various different roms, including cm11. See if you can reproduce this error.

The purple dot on the side of the screen and half of the screen became weird today. Never seen it before. It is not effecting the touch or anything.
Thanks in advance.

uh oh, screen issues
is it constantly there or comes and goes? I'd warranty it right away nevertheless
It will go away eventually.. I'm noticing it only happened when the phone in sleep mode overnight.

One of my frnds s2 fell from 2 feet. It started like that in morning the whole screen was dark.

I came from an S3 and had an S2 briefly before that. I remember how hot the S2 could get, but my S3 mainly ran cool. This S5 (AT&T) is always warm, often above 100 degrees fahrenheit. I can usually overlook small issues, but this is uncomfortable.
I'm open to any good ideas or suggestions. Any one else notice this?

my g900f is hot too.

I think I found something that helps: I uninstalled any app that has battery monitoring or control as part of its function. I also cleaned house on apps I don't have to have. Now my battery runs much cooler and lasts longer.
