So my games lag after 4.4.2 update like mc4 and asphalt 8....and asphalt 8 lag is extreme high..its starts after 5 min..first when I open this game its liquid smooth but after 5 min many things happened like split screen..screen divided into 2 parts phone heat up extremely high..and when this thing happens I just lock the screen wait for 20 sec.and my phone starts cooling..and then I open it and play game and its again play liquid smooth and again after 5 min. Its starts lag how to fix is I asked this same questions they haven't answered...I ask to gameloft They said clean your browser cookies I clean it but my games still lag...and I am not alone...this stuff happens to more people

Try to flash an UltraLite ROM.

if gaming performance is dropping after 4.4,then there is no going back to 4.3,damn im almost thinking of upgrade my futuer note 3 to KK.

I play mc4 too there is no lag..but if u play online..and go to that snow map..I dont know its name u will find huge lag..

Well i would suggest trying various different roms, including cm11. See if you can reproduce this error.

The way the game works is you download it from the play store, then when you run the game it downloads about 1.2GB on the first run.

I've been playing Aquaria off the Humble Bundle for Android 6. Couple that with a gamepad, and it definitely shows what the phone can do. I've yet to really try to push it yet, still breaking it in right now.

Avoid NOVA 3 and modern Combat 4. They look good but Gameloft doesn't allow either to run at full graphics on the S4 (makes no sense).
When I play this game I get huge amounts of lag and I don't think its just me. This is a high end phone and shouldn't lag on this game. Is it a problem on the developers fault?

I think it's the app, cuz other, even heavier, games runs fine on Nexus 4.
App issue. It works the same on every phone. On my N7 runs exactly the same.

I discovered some new stuffs in 4.2.2
To start with:
1) New gallery app
2) New video player ui
3) New music player
4) Transparent notification bar

Starting to really irritate me, but whether it's the free version or paid version of XDA forum app it's been extremely slow or fails to connect numerous times a day. When this is happening I can verify a good connection by surfing on the browser or other Internet apps.
I used to have a beta version of tapa talk 2 app that I loved !! Unfortunately one of the many times of flashing and messing with my HTC rebound I wiped internal and lost it. I have searched many times for it again and have never found it even though it was a free app. I Don't like the updated tapa talk app.

I am running X-note 11 and all games work like a charm, but I just bought Deus ex rhe fall from play store, and whenever I try to click on New Game or go to Options, it force closes every time. I havent been able to start the actual story not even once, and my googling did not help... anyone knows what is wrong? Any help would be highly appreciated

I just talked to a guy using Civato's rom and apparently Deus ex the fall works for him (a bit laggy, he says, but works). That being said, the problem must be somewhere else, not in the KitKat update. Question is... where?!
