LG G2 (D802) bricked (bootloop, no recovery) only boot loader - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've flashed a new ROM on my LG G2 (D802) 16 GB and now I'm in big trouble but maybe there's some help in the XDA-Forum?
Here are the facts:
- G2 starts and takes few seconds and then restarts
- Got no CWM Recovery etc.
- Installed the orig D80210A Firmware via Flash Tool
- Can flash anything via LG Mobile Flash Tool
- Can boot into download mode
- CAN NOT ACTIVATE DEVELOPER MODE (nothing happens while ticking on the Build-Number)
- Got NO IMEI (got a EFS Backup via ioroot but without developer Mode I cannot communicate with the G2 via USB-Debugging)
- Facory Reset doesn't change anything
- No network and no GSM (I think cause of the missing IMEI)
Can anybody help?

You need to first download the kdz and lg flash utility with drivers.
Install drivers
The factory reset deleting system, cache, internal sd.
Then shutdown your g2.
Start to downloaded mode connecting your g2
Flash kdz & voila... Done
I too bricked my phone before. My flashing stuck at 49%. Recovered using above method, all is well now
This works 1000%. I bet on it. Just remember to wipe the phone completely before flashing. You will return to stock with unrooted status in download mode. U will have your warranty back too

I've done this 10 times this morning. But I flashed the new kdz file and made the factory reset after flashing. Maybe it will work the other way? Gonna try it tomorrow but don't think this will change anything.
I've got the 49 % thing a few weeks before and the only thing needed was to change the COM Port to 41.
kind regards
Mike

Urgent help please!

So I'm pretty sure i softbricked my phone when I was trying to flash http://http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=42841443&postcount=4459. I wiped /data, /cache, /dalvik cache, and /system and I in my stupidity did not make a backup. Unfortunately, it gave me an installation aborted error and soft bricked my phone. Can't even go into recovery now, only emergency mode, But it always crashes when I'm trying to flash a kdz. I uploaded the log given if it helps. Please help because I really need this phone.
Btw, I was trying to downgrade from cm10.1 because I got a new phone and my mom wants this phone stock.

KDZ often crash on windows 7 or 8 it was maked for XP, from proprieties select compatibility and windows xp servce pack 3

Oh... Didn't know it was made for xp, thanks for the tip! I didn't disconnect it halfway when flashing though.

Is there a way to flash cwm backup via fastboot or adb? I still have a backup from some time ago
try once again an update and give a log file of that update ,do not disconnect the phone if update has failed, continue connected for some more minutes

Hey friend MAKE A HARD RESET ON UR PHONE THEN U FLASH KDZ AGAIN
HARD RESETING WILL GET RID OF ANY ERROS.
AND FLASHING AGAIN ITS BECAUSE KDZ UPDATER WONT SHOW ANY ERROS AS YOU ARE UPGRADING.!!!!!!!!
Bottom down+menu+turn on -> to get HARD RESET

You don't need udb debugging in fastboot mode. Flash the full factory image.
Nothing worked so far

Managed to flash full factory image.
When I flashed 4.3, its stucked at "Android is upgrading.... Starting Apps" screen.
When I flashed 4.2 its managed to boot successfully but I don't get the network coverage.
When i try to search network its "Error in searching network".
The baseband version is stated as unknown.
Reflash 4.3 and wait for the installation to finish. If it gets stuck on "Android is upgrading" just restart the phone. This time use THIS toolkit. it has always worked for me.
Me too did try flashing 4.3 again and again twice but still stuck up with x screen.

I too had this problem with my Nexus 4. I flashed the factory image (I tried with Android 4.2 and 4.3) with fastboot and I got exactly the same errors as you. I finally sent back my device to Google, the new one should arrive next week. I have no idea what can cause this problem :/
This thread is old, but if you have a problem with booting, you don't have to go unlocking bootloader and flashing anything if it can be fixed by just going into stock recovery and wiping cache or factory reset (you will lose apps data, but not data in your phone storage.)
Hold Power + Volume Down when the phone is off to go into "fastboot mode". Then use the Volume keys to navigate to Recovery. In there, press some combination of buttons of Volume and Power to bring up the menu (I forgot what the combination is, just fiddle around), then you can wipe cache or factory reset.
If even factory reseting doesn't help, you might need to unlock bootloader and flash factory firmware, but if you unlock the bootloader it will wipe the phone entirely and you will lose all your data. You can try to boot the phone and connect it to your PC, even if it doesn't boot fully there might be a chance MTP is loaded so you can copy files off.

You should do a factory reset in recovery before flashing. Follow the instruction here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2010312, and make sure you use the correct firmware image when flashing it.

[Q] Unable to unroot

Hey guys, im unable to unroot. even before the uptest.exe have reached 100% my phone has already booted up. when i enter download mode again, it says it is still rooted. anyone knows how to solve this?
only way to get rid of rootes status in download mode is to flash the stock rom via the way to return to stock lgg2. Its a thread somewhere on this forum.
even then sometimes it survives that flash. Then factory reset and try again. also try the lg software from lg with the repair recovery option

Man, it IS unrooted, it just says it isn't in DL mode, try doing a factory wipe, Then flash the stock KDZ again, that should hopefully put it back to unrooted :good:
Also, the phone reboots at about 70% in the up test exe, if you look at the device it is at 100% while the flash tool is only at around 70%, don't worry that is normal.
yeah instead of that use the official lg flash tool. or try again, as sometimes with flashing it is maintained.

Uptest is LG's official tool, when you run uptest.exe it opens up the LG Mobile support tool, which flashes the KDZ to your device.
EDIT: sorry, i know what you mean now. I didn't know you could revert to stock with JUST the lg support tool from LG's site, i thought you had to have the uptest program :good:
when I download, install and run that tool I dont run uptest.exe, but the tool itself.
strange but ok. Learned something new.

Lg g2 d800 download mode brick without help

Hi friends have tried all the tutorials to get my d800 Lg g2 a brick but none works because my computer does not go into dowload mode gets stuck in the part that says "dowload mode" but did not get off to the screen firmware update.
excuse my English
You need to first download the kdz and lg flash utility with drivers.
Install drivers
The factory reset deleting system, cache, internal sd.
Then shutdown your g2.
Start to downloaded mode connecting your g2
Flash kdz & voila... Done
I too bricked my phone before. My flashing stuck at 49%. Recovered using above method, all is well now
This works 1000%. I bet on it. Just remember to wipe the phone completely before flashing. You will return to stock with unrooted status in download mode. U will have your warranty back too

What can I do to bring phone in normal state?
I am using D-802.
Looks like you bought a frankenphone. Which means that you bought a refurbished phone which usually has a d800 or d801 motherboard but has the imei and back cover for a d802
