Here is my mod to make your Nexus 5 DPI different than stock! I have only done it for 445 DPI currently, if you would like you can modify your own or request for me to do so.
I will upload a zip every DPI requested.
UPDATE:I have just added a 370 DPI zip.

What is the difference between this zip file verse the textdroid DPI app in the play store?Does your zip only do 1 size setting?

Each zip will only do one size, but it's more for automation purposes. I made it for myself since I use omni and like a different DPI than stock, I just include it in the flash after folder so it autoflashes the DPI change and I don't have to do anything else.
I decided to upload and make specific size based ones for users that would like something different to make their flashing desires less painful.
This is awesome of you to do but wouldn't it be easier to just edit the build.prop directly inside the zip before flashing?
Kudos for using a script though instead of using a generic build.prop.

Uhhh, it's easier if you want to open the zip and edit it, this you just flash after your rom
BTW, didn't mean to sound sarcastic

xposed does not always run the smoothest on devices and if you are using ART it wouldn't work.
Just because one person figures out how to do something one way does not mean others will want to do it that way, all users have different purposes for doing the things they do and are more comfortable with doing things different ways.

This is still useful for OP's scenario though. Put it into the flashafterupdate folder and it'll be automatically flashed when he flashes an omnirom OTA update. Just because one way of doing something exists doesn't mean it's the best way to do something.
Slightly different to how I do it with my Slim zip...
#!/sbin/sh
sed -i 's/density=370/density=440/g' /system/build.prop;
The zips are good because you just add it to your flash routine when you flash a new rom.

In really surprised at how done xda members conduct themselves...
The OP made a contribution, I see no room for negativity. Your solution does not account for ART issues, and it also insists that it is better to install a total framework modification system to do what a simple zip can easily accomplish.

It looks interesting, the only thing that would make me not use it is the size of the windows on the screen on stock dpi.
If you could get it to work at lower dpi I would certainly check it out at least. It's the kind of thing you need to see working yourself in your configuration to see how useful it will be.

yes, of course. currently at 240dpi
I'd definitely fancy using it. Thanks!
Imo it would be too small to work with. Even the dual Window seem to make the screen look clustered.

This thread is for the support of RootBox users. I am not affiliated with Bajee in any way. I am just doing this to prevent any further conflicts between our amazing developer and the people have questions and need support for RootBox. I will do my best to answer any questions, but I do not know all the answers.
Please be helpful to others and only constructive criticism. EVERYONE started somewhere, just because they have a question does not give you the right to insult or criticize anyone. Everyone makes mistakes and everyone has those days.

Personally I have no longer been having an issue with cLock not showing on my lock-screen. They appear to have updated it and I no longer have problems with it showing. Also in the newest source it was updated again so you may not have problems then.
Could try doing a full wipe and installing the latest nightly or wait for the next one.
Ps I compile my own rootbox so when I talk about the new update it should be in Bajees next nightly or release

Can I specify the lockscreen to stay on portrait view?
Hi all.
I have been using this ROM for about 3 weeks now, and I love every single thing about it
Thanks bajee11 to have developed such a great ROM
I run it with Faux123 kernel and it runs smoothly.
One thing I have to ask in this thread and hopefully get a reply is this
Is it possible to keep my lockscreen on a portrait view when I enabled auto rotate?
Or is there any way to make my LINE(chat) to be auto rotate when the screen orientation locked?
I enabled the "Normal Rotation" on Youtube and works fine, but with LINE it can't be done and I am eager to do the same with my LINE.
Hopefully someone will have an answer to this. thanks very much.
Regards, Evan Hendra
In the new nightly the option to have the screen shot in one of the nav keys is gone, (or I'm overlooking it)..... anyway I can add it back in myself? Thanks.
@Bajee.... will there be an option for it again in the future? I know it's in 3.8 but just wondering if it's going to be taken out all together in the next stable release.

Bootloop with faux kernel
Anyone using faux kernel here? I must be doing something wrong because I can't get the phone to boot when I flash the kernel. (I'm using TWRP if that makes any difference).
This is a mod how to enable navigation bar(on screen
buttons) , its very simple and easy...
Warring: if you mess something dont blame me.
Add the following line at the end of buid.prop file
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
now on reboot we will have nav-bar like on nexus 4
To turn off capacitive buttons:
Go to system/use/key layout/ synaptics-rmi-touchscreen.kl
Long press it and click open with text editor
Delete everything there
Reboot.
To turn of capacitive button lights:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.deskangel.kblight
Or
This will mess your screen brightness and it will stay on 100% all the time. You have to use screen filter app from play store or some other app to control the brightness of your screen.
Go to system/lib/hw
There find lights.msm8960.so
Rename it to (whatever you want)
Reboot.

I think I read on the s4 forums that they also can't get this going with stock based roms (touchwizz and gpe), something about the lines of code for this to happen being removed or not there.
From personal experience, I could only get the navbar on pa. Another person on a thread enabled it on a cm based ROM.
So in the end, yes, it seems the only way to get the nab bar working is a cm based ROM. Its a pity cause that means we'll be giving up:
* good speakers - missing beats audio
* ir blaster and fantastic TV app.
* blink feed
* slightly better camera optimizations
Anyone able to recommend a cm based ROM ? Or at least alternative apps for the problems above?

Great find
I found something similiar, involved editing xml files after decompiling sytemUI, but for an older Android version, so it didn't work. I will decompile his file and check for differences.
I'm currently working on modifying the systemUI.xml of my PA rom which should work on most AOSP roms. I'm trying to adjust icon dimensions to allow for a larger signal strength icon to simulate the new ios7 dot style signal strength icon. Not that relevant... But while I'm there I'll see if I can't make a simple switch sides mod.
Make a paint image or something or find a screen shot of exactly what you want or what side and such. I don't want to forget icons.

the newest pure nexus update removed the DPI setting because changing it breaks android pay. I don't care for android pay but people like useless things, just my opinion but that's the way everything moving haha.
anyway now I change the DPI directly in the build.prop. I tried going lower than 480 but it does not change. even setting to something like 300 doesn't make a difference.
the steps are simple to it as far as can tell:
open build.prop
