hello everyone
i tried the jellybean theme few days ago by marinalin
but after i restart the phone the phone hangs and the screen keeps blinking every few seconds
do i need some specific firmware to use this theme??
or any other solutions......
Use DDLK2 as baseband.Make sure you have mounted all the partitions before flashing.Better use custom roms like Hyperion,Lenox etc. to flash these themes.

probably a bootloop but it happens so fast the blinking is the start of some kind of boot animation but it doesnt have a chance to actually play it before bootlooping again

Wait!!! I have seen this in 4-Way Boot-stock deodexed ROM by RiddlerA.
And other mod (I forgot what that mod was)
I think it happens like this:-
You see "SAMSUNG GALAXY Y GT-S5360" Bootlogo.
You can see bootanimation. Phone vibrates after few minutes.
Home screen is shown ONLY FOR 1 SECOND if you use Holo launcher. Blank screen if you use stock Touchwiz3.0.
Then screen starts flashing in this pattern *flash* blank for 2 seconds *flash* home-screen for 1 second *flash*
In my second case, I went to CWM, Wiped Cache (ONLY CACHE, NOT DATA) Then went to advanced, wiped Dalvik-Cache. Rebooted. Problem was solved.
But in case of 4-way boot problem is not solved by this.

Hi guys, I am experiencing an endless bootloop after installing the latest MIUI, reverted to previous version. Just wondering how many others are also affected, because some people don't seem to be having any problems with it.

Me too... it happened on 1.8.19 too. I solved it with a wipe the first time, but not now... cant do this everytime. I stay at 1.8.19 until its fixed.

When your X5 turns on, is it the black screen saying 'IDEOS' or the white screen with the red logo with 'HUAWEI'?
I had this issue too, perform a full wipe, dalvik cache, everything, and then install the zip file.

doesn't work :/ as soon as wi fi goes on, boot loop starts
are you sure you wiped everything? i had the same issue and this fixed it
When you have bootloops, connect the device with usb cable, open a command prompt and run -> adb logcat
Then you will be able to see the errors arround the loop and maybe understand what is fault.
If you cannot, post the results to the original thread, so the developer to can help you.
FIX
To fix this, before flashing, go into Root Explorer, into /data and delete the 'misc' folder. (/data/misc)
Flash will then work and reboot loop is fixed
Mine is with white screen, black box and there is no X5 logo at the back of phone and ROM works good, no loops. But few times there was that it won't boot-just black screen and stuck. Anyway CM7 is better for me.

What do you mean? Could you capture and upload a photo of it?

You have given us very little information to work with. Based on the information you have given, it sounds like you flashed a custom ROM known as Dark Knight V2, but when it boots up it goes "weird"
Try the following:
1. Boot into Clockwork Recovery
2. Wipe EVERYTHING (Cache, Davlik, System, Data\Factory Restore)
3. Flash the ROM again
If that fails, try putting the phone into "Download Mode" and flashing a STOCK ROM.
If those steps don't work, you need to give us more information.

Do a hard reset of the device not a factory reset

Unfortunately, you cannot flash 2ndinit if you've already installed cyanogenmod, since it already has a bootloader. Goes for all versions of CM. I made the same mistake and had to flash the sbf.
I'm assuming that when you reboot normally you get stuck at the "red M" screen and your capacitive touch buttons might flicker. If that's the case, you will have to flash the sbf, because your bravo is boot looping. Go to this post here and follow the tutorial to the letter.

If you are having further trouble, post it there.
And don't forget to say thank you to josuearisty

It will run stock 2.2.1 yes. If you follow the instructions from the tutorial, and you have at least a little battery left you should be fine, since you will have your phone plugged into your computer. You will have to re-root as well. When you sbf, you have to start all over, including rooting. Just make sure you follow the tutorial step by step. It does a much better job explaining how to fix everything.

Maybe an hour to get you back to jelly bean. It's worth it to take your time before each step so you don't mess anything up.

To reboot into recovery, hold the power/hold button down til that menu pops up, then select reboot, then select recovery. It was my pleasure helping. If you have any other questions just ask in the bravo general section and eventuality someone will help. Everyone with bravo is very supportive.
Edit: in recovery you will have options like reboot, wipe cache, wipe data, flash zip, backup/restore, that sort of thing. Usually I backup first just as a precaution, before wiping data and cache and then flashing a new rom. For other zips like gapps, cpu governors, or anything else you can just flash the zip without wiping.

I'm gonna add, since the recovery option in the power button menu doesn't always access 2nd-init recovery (depends on the rom), nor is that option available in all roms, you just need to push the volume up button when the led light turns green when booting up to access the bootmenu. I've had cases where reboot menu recovery went to stock recovery instead of 2nd-init.
Its also a good idea to wipe cache\dalvik cache when flashing things like lockring mods, framework themes, and most theme related mods in general.

My fault, its Volume Down, and yes, the green blink before the blue is when you push it.
I got it confused with Stock Recovery, which is Power Button+Volume Up while turning on the phone.

I really think the SBF of the Experimental is having different SBF CG files. Maybe lower in CG from before.
Thats why the problem. With the build
Might have to start with Full Re-instalation of SBF

I was trying to flash different rom's cm10.1 older than 26.05.2013 even cm10, but every time I get the same black screen with red led, right after moto logo.
I must say that before I install 26.05.2013 I made a full wipe (cache/data/system).
Can help someone?

I'm changing back and forth from 0904 and 2705, coz 2705 has a problem - Motocast WiFi won't work on it - everything else no problems at all, even flashed 4.2.2 Gapps on 2705 -but then Store refused to connect only..didn't want to mess with it so re-flashed only older Gapps (minimal) then. .. 2705 seems to have different USB drivers too..manual unmounting the SD card..
Well try this : Full wipe of system and dalvik cache , then flash 2705 then flash gapps , and now optional step i never had to do - again clear system and cache..
Hope it works for you.
I tried to flash also 16.06 and cm10.1-16.06 but nothing, still the same black screen with red led.
again any idea anyone???
thanx

Try rm -rf /system/* instead of system wipe. I think somethink is buggy in TWRP and "system wipe" is not fully wipes the system partition. After "rm ...", flash cm10-16.06 and 20121011 gapps.
(Sorry for my bad english )
