All the info on it here.
Have you experienced/noticed it? Kinda makes me scared to make the jump to 4.4.2!
First I've heard of it and my ~18-30 hr life span doesn't have any problems.
Same no problems. I'm averaging 14-16 hours up time and 4 hours screen time.

I think it's quite decent. Mine is about 7-7.5 hours. After 4 days without charging it.

Sounds about right.
Just wondering if anyone else experiences this?? 100%-90% is very quick.... But then the rest (89%-0%) drains sooo slow so it's rly weird! I get amazing battery life (Avg is 26hrs per battery life according to GSam) but it'd be nice if the first 10% drained like the rest.

Same here noticed the same thing as soon as I manually updated to MF9 stock not rooted. I get like 16 to 17 hours total time with like 5 hours of screen on time  thats pretty good compared to gs3. The first 10% goes really fast thou.

I could be wrong but this is the way modern cell phone battery charge. Your phone will charge to 100 then stop charging til it gets to around 90, and will repeat this process til you unplug it. Therefore when you unplug your phone it says 100 but it could be anywhere between 100-90. So the first ten percent usually goes fast.

So i have a note 3 exynos SM-n900 model and i have noticed that every time i use the phone (screen ON), and then put it down for some time (screen off, deep sleep ON), the battery pecentage goes up by about 3%. obviously this is not some voodoo, but i guess the battery calibration has changed somewhat since 4.3 came out. Also it's not as if the 3% then just drops when i use the phone again..it just drains normally.
I am getting about 30 hours atleast on any given day with about 6 hours of screen ON time. so i am happy with whatever's happenning. lol
just wondering if anyone else has noticed this happening or is it just my phone.
I am on criskelo rom V07 and Halaszk kernel v0.14B cluster. Also have Greenify, Better battery stats, etc installed.
Thank you for taking the time to read this post.

A magical planet where phones charge on their own.
I'm gonna guess this is due to kernel/rom config, and that it reports the percentages inconsistently. Perhaps you should try stock on for a few days and see how it goes.
My n9005 lasts for more than 30 hours easily on a single charge -- with fairly heavy usage.

HaHa, you guys know what I mean .. off topic 715 planets have just been discovered by NASA and 4 of them are apparently habitable too.....atleast one of them might have a 30 hour day.

Yes Nipuna, the snapdragon version has better battery performance surely. Mine's an Exynos sadly..so not as good as yours. Stock Kernel is worse as i already had it for two months and didn't even get a day's use out of it. Anyway...i am not much of a commuting person and i usually have a charging point close by at any given time.
thanks!
Well, I had a spare battery (100% official) for my Xperia PLAY 4G R800at. Switching to it would often show 0% and gradually rise to 100%. It could be a similar correction as the battery controller adjusts and corrects itself.

mercurys day is 4222 hours long. thats 58.5 days
battery percentage is guess-timated based on voltage.
My best guess is that the calibration algorithm has not changed to reflect the monstrous capacity this phone's battery has.
If you go with ZL's 10Ah battery, you'll notice this happening a ton more.
had years ago the same magic on my old x10!!!

Well my battery charges itself but in different way, when the battery reach 5 %, I turn off my phone and pull the battery for 1 min then put it back, it magically goes from 5% to 8%.
Stock rooted

If you work near high energy substations this can recharge batteries, it's the principle the QI chargers use,and the Note 3 has the ports for it...
Hello, im a beloved user of a Galaxy Note 2 and im considering switching to the LG G2!
Im not gonna ramble on about the screen and stuff but my only concern is the battery, the Note series is known to have the best battery life and on my current Note 2 i can get about 3-4 hours screen on time with roughly 10% left!
So my question is, how is the battery life and if anyone has had the Note 2 before the G2, was it a good upgrade?
You can read about g2 battery here

I'm with totally stock kit Kat and my best screen on was 6 hours +,so for me is best.
Now my phone is on 67%and I got 2hours and 40 min screen on,so without problems I can reach 5+ hours.

Hi guys
Just wondering if anyone else has noticed high battery drain on LMY48M?
Since the update my battery doesn't seem to be lasting the day if I have mobile data on and I use it occasionally. Basically unplug at 7:30am and by 3pm I need to start charging it. There's no obvious process draining it.
I did replace the battery 5 weeks ago and was working fine. Well into 20+ hours with use. Then not long after the update I noticed this issue.
Any thoughts on what could do?
Edit: Should have used the search (noob mistake I know) it's obviously an issue most are seeing on this build.
Are there any recommendations on Kernels to switch to, seraphore (sic) I've seen mentioned.
I'm always wary of updates in case something detrimental happens, but I recently updated to 48M and have seen no adverse effects. Phone on since 6:30 and still at 60%. Definitely no battery drain here.

Strangely enough it's behaving today. Had a SOD last night, cleared my cache and so far 12hrs since 100% and I've got 43% to go, reckons another 8 hours. This is with my usual usage.

Fingers crossed you've sorted it. 14 hours since 100% here and still have 45%. 12 hours to go. And to think I was considering replacing it with a 5X! [emoji50]
