Does anyone know of a way to unlink the ringer and notification sounds on the G2? I found an Xposed module that does this but apparently it is for AOSP roms only. I either have a ringtone that plays too loud so that I can hear my notifications or a notification that is too low to hear so that my ringtone isn't blasting every time my phone rings...
Nevermind. I installed GravityBox and found the setting in there

Is there anyway i can customize the sound profiles to have specific sound?
For instance, turn off ringtone and system sound but still have media audio (music player, video sound) or turn off all sound besides notifications, etc. As of now, the only thing I can do is turn off ringtone volume but leave system on but that still produces notification alerts and of course there is silent and vibrate but those cut off all sound. So, is there an app or registry change I can make to customize it the way I want. Any help is a appreciated.
Is there any way to make the vibration intensity or duration stronger or longer?
I am running CM10.1 latest nightly (09/02)

I use Trickster Mod on my rooted stock rom to adjust vibration. It works fine, but what I would really like to change is the two little vibrates for Gmail. I use handcent sms and I can configure a long single vibrate that works great, BUT that's a no go for Gmail.
Hi, I was wondering if there is a way to adjust the notification Volume separate from the ring tone? I like my notifications quiet but my ring tone to be loud. I'm unrooted and stock Rom. I am willing to root to fix this. Thanks in advance.

Hey guys! I'm trying to find the best notification, ringtone, alarm, combo out there. Any suggestions? I have a hotline bling remix for ringtone that I got from Zedge that I enjoy. It isn't as annoying when you hear it a bunch as with other Ringtones. For notification I have the Frank Underwood one from House of Cards but it's getting on my nerves when I get several notifications in a short amount of time. Any suggestions?

Here is a flashable zip file that will replace all your UI + Ringtone + Notification + Alarm sounds with the Nokia X ones. I love these
To revert back to your old sounds, just reflash your ROM.
Nokia X Sounds
I just came from a Note 4 and didn't have this problem. I like to create ringtones that loop seamlessly but with my S7 when my ringtone starts it has low volume and increases to full volume after a second or two. For me this breaks the seamless loop of my ringtone and sounds awful.
There is an app on the google store "Disable Increasing Ring" but it has a persistent notification that remains on the lockscreen and just bugs the crap out of me having to stare at it every time.
Is there a setting or option I am missing that can disable this "feature"? I can't believe more people aren't complaining about this? It makes me miss calls sometimes because I can't get to my phone fast enough since I missed the first few seconds of the ringtone.
Thanks!
You can probably turn off the persistent notification under manage applications. That's what I did on my S5 when I used this app.
Now that S7 has root, does anyone know how to disable the increasing ring for ringtones?

Xtouchwiz (xposed) has an option to remove it.
Thanks! I'm a noob with xposed but I just installed out so I'll give it a try.
