What I did was download from "download.CyanogenMod. com" scrolled down to "Galaxy S4 {LTE}-JFLTE", once it downloaded I moved it to the cmupdater folder. Thence "settings/about phone/cmupdater" and the download should be their then just tell it to update. I'm sure their is an easier way but that worked for me. Good luck.

Clockworkmod 6.0.3.3

Hi guys,
I'm about to flash my first non-stock recovery on my i9505.
I wanted to know if anyone of you has got the last version of cwm official recovery (6.0.3.3) and has tried to update the official nightlies of Cyanogenmod 10.1 through the update manager without hassle.
I've followed the thread and for my understanding i should install the version that i can download from the cm10.1 thread instead of official one. Is it correct?
For ppl using it: did you have any issue?
Thanks!
No more status issues mate. Use the one which can be downloaded via Rom Manager or through the one provided by invisiblek in the CM thread

Thanks for the prompt reply! Just flashed via ROM manager and it flashed perfect straight away. Trying to understand if mute calls from cyanogenmod are due to basebands different from MEA before flashing new ROM.
Actually some people having MEA basebands are saying that they have no call issues with their phone. I'll just add the information if someone of u can be interested in!

N9005 HLTEXX 4.3 JELLYBEAN - Can't Flash CM 11 Kitkat

Hi Guys, Apologies if there is a thread for this already but I couldn't find a thing. Having trouble installing Cyanogenmod 11 on my note 3 N9005 HLTEXX running Android 4.3. I successfully rooting and flashed clockwork mod recovery but when I go to install the cm11.zip from recovery menu I just get an aborted message with an error 7 (the zip you are trying install is for a HLTEXX device, this is a HLTE)
I then read a thread saying that if I delete the first line of ode in the updater scipt file with in the .zip.done this but I got an (error 6) ( no explanation was given).
I've reflashed offical firmware and tried the process again
But had no joy.
Anybody out there help? I'm on the o2 network in Ireland and 4.2 offical isn't available yet.
Cheers
Ray
It is not working because new boot loader! And in my opinion it is also not happening in the future

Error 6 is a custom Recovery issue, edit the updater script or switch custom recoveries.

No, read this post. :good:
EDIT: PS, this should be in Q&A section
you are on 4.3, YOU DONT HAVE THE NEW BOOTLOADER.. so like @radicalisto said either flash twrp or edit the updater script...
PS- you could have just searched the CM thread and found the answer to this question, rather than making a thread....and that too in the WRONG section
Here listen Khizar, I'm just looking for a bit of help as I am unfamiliar with the latest on flashing and bootloader updates. You obviously dont have a life outside of writing on these forums if you are getting upset that it is not in the right category.
Thanks to everyone else for your help though and not being a smart ass!

[Q] Cant boot to CWM

Hello - my first thread.
Specs:
Note 3 (canadian-Rogers)
Model: SM-N9005
Version: 4.4.2
Kernal: 3.4.0goba80f7
CM version: 11-20140130-Nightly-hltexx
I cannot get back into CWM to load new roms or anything. I can boot the phone and use CM11 as the phone works fine aside from LTE but I am stuck with this rom and no choice.
I made a mistake and not sure how. Long story short, LTE was not working so i tried to change from CWM to TWRP hoping it woulld fix the LTE problem as i read some where CWM may of caused it.
Now when I hold volume up, power and lower button, i just get the samsumg galaxy note 3 logo and small font on top saying:
Recovery Booting...
Set Warrenty Bit: Recovery
Phone just stays like that.
if i take out the battery and reinstall, I can get into download manager by holding volume down, power and lower button.
Help would be greatly appreciated!
P.S. I have been searching and trying things since 8pm tonight with no luck.

Is I LOVE YOU to strong for us just meeting? Thank you so much for the help! I can now get back into CWM.
Can you advise me on how i did this to my phone and how you realized what I was missing and needed to install?
My next issue is not having a great LTE signal being outside with no blockage of buildings in a regular area. i think this is caused by not having my bootloader updated to the most current version which i now need to figure out how to upgrade...which is how i think i caused this problem. heh.

[Q] jlftte or jlftexx?

How do I know if my phone is jlfte or jlftexx?
I have a:
Galaxy S4 i9505 16gb
Baseband: I9505XXUFNC4
Android: AOSB 4.4.2 (I have flashed the jlfte version but have problem with the camera)
up!
Jflte is the modelnumber for the galaxy s4. Jfltexx is the International model of the galaxy s4.
Different carriers have different modelnumbers because of their lte frequencies. All of them have the Snapdragon 600. If you no carrier restricted phone then you have the jfltexx
Alternativly you could dial *1234#
Gesendet von meinem GT-I9505 mit Tapatalk
And a jflte ROM is for every snapdragon S4. So for the jflteatt, jfltevww, jfltetmo and of course jfltexx. It's called a unified build. The jfltexx is just the i9505. So the device you own. You can flash jfltexx ROMs and jflte ROMs. They both should work.
Me Gusta!
@Me Gusta and @benni2903 thanks guys!

Yeah, im 99.9% sure you've got a jfltexx. The VJ is just your modem. Just go ahead and flash jfltexx twrp.
Also, the i9505 is nearly, I repeat, nearly unbrickable. Almost everything can be fixed by using Odin.

Samsung Galaxy S4 NO CONNECTION TO MOBILE NETWORK!!!!

So my issue is that after installing Cyanogenmod onto my Samsung Galaxy S4 it does NOT connect to my mobile carrier network.
I tried using Tweakker but it doesn't list my carrier (US Cellular) So I can't get helped there!
I really hope I didn't **** my phone and some god-like hero can come to my rescue.
