Changing Rom's. - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello i just bought the LG G2 and rooted it. But im having troubles installing a new rom(CM11) Could anybody guide me Preferbly over Skype or w/e LIVE while im doing it because im worried i'll mess up the whole thing...

Make sure you're using the latest TWRP. I used 2.6.3.3

So far ive only Rooted it... idk how to continue and need 1 on 1 help doing that .

Well the easiest way to install custom recovery is by downloading freegee from play store and installing one of your choice

Hey guys I have a custom recovery and ROM on my nexus 7 and I tried to flash 4.4 through TWRP but it said failed so can anyone help me? Any kind of help would be appreciated! Thnx

Which rom? I would post in the thread for that rom. Most of the time when I get a failure it is a bad download. Be sure to check the md5 checksum of the download.

if you're using 2.6.3.1, try to use 2.6.3.0 of TWRP..

use CWM.. clean flash.. if it doesn't work, i cannot give anymore suggestions..

I really dont understand why do you keep requesting a stock rom all the time? i already gave you the BNA2, was that not good enough or something , hehe ,
I failed flash BNA2 with odin cause its interrupted in the end of processes (cant install hidden.ext4) and now I lost my wifi

I didn't flash it successfully.

LG setup f\c

Failed to finish setup process. After I install one of the custom Rom I have this problem, it's appears in every other custom Rom I tried to install.in 1 time I receive a note question if I don't include a binary something.
What can I do to fix this problem?

download the rom in your pc, find the lg setup. apk delete it, and flash again
works in my g2
It's happened in every custom Rom.
Maybe something missing in the device?

You must use a computer for root, ioroot is an easy way to root any g2 firmware but you need a computer

If you have the t-mobile d801 variant on kiktat you won't be able to root with ioroot25, you would need to downgrade to 4.2 and to do that you need a computer

I'm not sure myself.. I've seen the question asked about flashing a ROM using a stock recovery but never about flashing a recovery. I would go buy a computer and take it back after rooting.

Yup it totally works, especially KDZ method. I soft bricked phone 3 times (messing with settings) and this has always been my trump card.

The TOT method for my D800 worked as well...flawlessly. Only caveat is that you should use the original usb cable that came with your phone; I tried an old Samsung cable once and for some reason didn't work.
