Hello, maybe there is way to make ultra power save mode for I9505?
This would be nice!
Someone must have to patch display drivers to make it possible I guess

I'm quite sure that root access is a must for key remap on Android. Ah I miss the WinMo days...

Hi all,
Fast easy and way to unlock sleep mod option in power option menu( holding down the power button) Gingerbread. Use root explore and edit your build.prop file by adding the lines below. Reboot and your done. You can also use several tools from play store to edit your system/build.prop
File to Edit /system/build.prop
Add these lines :
# sleep option.
ro.mot.deep.sleep.supported=true
If you find this useful say thanks. If it's been covered before sorry.
Not working on cm9

It puts the phone in a power saving mode. When it comes back from sleep the phone restarts. You will see the difference.

Enable it and you'll see explanation by Motorola. Something similar to computer sleep. Phone will not restart, just wake up quickly.

So it puts it into a hibernate-like mode? Does it shut off the radios? Would I still get texts/emails or anything? Will it still play music in the background?
Not trolling, honestly curious.

Sleep mode, it means memory remained powered but CPU, GPU, radio etc is off. Same as PC in sleep mode, you cannot get text/emails, play music or get alarms to wake you up (I tried ) but you can charge battery. When you use it for the first time you'll get explanation by Motorola
I don't think that is same as hybrid sleep in Win7 to save all data to flash (hard disk) in case of power failure. But someone could test it by removing battery

Seeing as this is just a simple build.prop edit. Is there another edit to add the "reboot" option to the list also?
Btw ..thanks for this its sweet.

I think that require you to modify the framework and have deodexed rom.
Is there a difference with sleep mode and locking the device? Is there a benefit in this sleep mode?

Yeah, I'm using lock widget in the status bar but some times you need to use the button like turn on the phone or can't access your rom so if there is another phone's button similar to ours tell me.
Thanks anyway.
Dose Any one what this "Setting" do
it was Hidden and i Founded using " Quick Shortcut Maker"
Thanks
Are you using stock firmware?
Can show show the screenshot in the 'Quick Shortcut Maker' app?
Yeah, i found this a couple of months ago. Never bothered about it. The power saving mode is the same as the one in the phone settings, the "Auto Power Off" will turn off the power saving mode after the given time you set it.
"Fast Power On" I don't know what that is, it was ticked by default.
I know I didn't help, but if nothing else, I increased my post count.

How to search this option in note 3 exynos ?
Yes I use Stok ROM

I don't think the option of "Auto Power Off" turne the Power Saving Mode off after the given time
But I think it turne off the device "Shutdown the Mobile" After 1Houer ( the time I set )
And I think the screen must be off during this Houer
Many Thanks to All

Hello,
Now you can get all of these HIDDEN settings in this app: Shortcut Master.
Just go to menu --> Search, enter 'powersaving' to search.
If anybody is having this problem just hold; volume down, home button, and power button then it will bring you into download mode then just cancel and restart. I was scared to death that some how some way I broke it but its all fixed now c: Hope this helps somebody in the future
Isn't removing battery an easier option.
