App share - Top contacts widget - Nexus 5 Themes and Apps

I love this widget. It syncs to google if you want it too and updates itself for your most contacted people
But for some reason is totally unfindable on the play store without having the link below!!

Play Store purchases and multiple accounts question

Suppose Person A and Person B own a Nexus 7 and have logged into their user accounts. Both A & B own two different Android Phones. Now, A purchases an app on either of his devices. Would B be able to use the paid app? On which device(s)?
is that a trick question?
whatever A buys, B can't legally use, B has to buy it him/herself.

Unless they add each of their accounts in the Play store. I do this on the various tabs in my house. I log in through the Play store and download my apps... then just remove the account or setup a pin.

All apps are bound to the GOOGLE account, so whatever account you buy something on, whether it be on a phone, tablet, on the play Web page, the app will be shown to whatever user/device that account is attached 2, if person b has their own account then they won't see it.
Multi user is designed to make each user feel like it's their tablet, not a shared one. It's like me asking if I can use an app that you have paid for.

I have two google accounts and i've bought some apps in the first...i have added both the accounts in the N7 and I could normally download the already payed apps...Then I discovered that i can use them even if i remove the account...but if the account si not your it isn't legal....

[Q] How to migrate from iPhone?

Well my phone hasn't even shipped yet but I'm impatiently trying to plan everything to get the best use of the phone right away...
The biggest and most important thing will actually be migrating from my iPhone. I guess since all my mail is either GMail or work's exchange, I'm good there... I can easily download the photos on to my computer...
What about contacts? They are in iCloud but is there any easy way to export/import my entire contact list?
Is there anything else I might be forgetting about migrating over?
I suggest entering your icloud contact phone #'s to Gmail's contact list if u haven't. Also get Google Music and it will upload all your songs in itunes to Google's clouds.
you should be able to download an app to sync your contacts to gmail and from there you just log into your gmail account on the N4 and your done. and as mentioned with play music, upload it to googles cloud and be done with that. the migrate should be fairly easy. once u do it you will never go back lol

I would love to have a widget for Google talk. Something that would allow me to see who is online without needing to open and close it.
Something like gmail widget

Using Google Hangouts on One with Bloatware

I guess some of you noticed that google just updated Google Talk to replace it with Hangouts. A nice WhatsApp Clone with some beautiful features. I guess cross platform chat (Phone <> PC) is the most interesting part.
If you are an owner of an One which has Google Talk preinstalled as bloatware there is no chance to update this via Google Play unless HTC delivers an update. Too bad we're not able to uninstall bloatware / preinstalled stuff on non rooted devices...
But if you open the Play Store via browser on your computer to instruct it to install Hangouts on your phone, it will overwrite the Google Talk and you're able to use the new Hangouts app

That's what I did myself I wondered why it wouldn't update

I really wish they integrated it with sms/mms app like Facebook Messaging can do... or just made it like iMessage. But I'm happy for the upgrade.
It might not be showing up for folks because it is probably still replicating across the Play servers.
UI Layour is quite nice, hope it gets popular, but i really wanted that it could send sms , like imessage , or sms atleast so i can use that app for all.
edit.

I just got the phone today , it wouldnt let me install from Play store on the phone , it just gives me an option to open.
i went to play store on my pc and was able to install it from there on my phone and it replaced my talk app and it seems to work fine.
I opened a thread like this, Hangouts, with how to install and other stuff.
I saw this thread after.
Sorry
What I did was uninstall Google talk with titanium backup and then just install hangouts from the store later

Google Account Help PLEASE

I deleted my main google account from my phone because I no longer use it and I'm using a different gmail account. That account is on my phone and trying to connect everything in the Android Play Store to it, but none of my apps are connecting to it in the Play Store.
How do I connect all the Play Store apps to my other account? Thx!

You probably want to contact Google and have them move the apps over. Don't think there's another way

No... just off of my phone is all.
Just got off the phone with them and they said, due to copyright reasons, they cannot transfer over the apps to the new account. So back on my phone is my old account, BUT I will have all syncing for it turned off.
I appreciate your help!!
Good to know. Copyright reasons... Ugh

Corrected when I called Google they said that there's no way to do this because of some copywriting issue. That doesn't make sense at all since they have verified I am the same owner of both gmail accounts. So I just put my old gmail back on the phone and turned off everything from syncing so that I can just use it for the Play Store.

I had a similar issue, and I'm not sure exactly how it got fixed. Here's what I did.
1. Factory reset
2. Setup phone with new gmail
3. Add old account
4. Go to my apps in the play store and select the old gmail.
5. Download all apps
6. Remove old account from phone.
I followed these steps on my phone and all apps paid and free work fine with my new gmail.
