for root you can try kingo root.
but to flash any custom rom, requires custom recovery (CWM), and that definitely will triggers knox 0x1

Hi there,
I managed to perform root on this build yesterday, I followed the Chainfire tool / exploit, but it only worked after I downloaded SuperSU from the market (latest pro version) before it was giving a "no su binary present"
I have knox 0x01 I havent tried to downgrade it yet...
cheers

You can´t downgrade to a stock knox disabled firmware and if you root/flash a custom rom, you knox counter will be set to 0x1.
I updated OTA,but not via Kies
So still I have new bootloader? :/

Bt this time I want change my I9082 In unroot like under in Samsung warranty !!
Help me!!
Can it ???
( I have never change in rom or kernel
So
Can I try this method
1• Press power+home+valumeup
2•wipe userdata
3•wipe cache partition
3●reboot system
Can this methode try anyone

Think you rooted your phone using third party applications rather than flashing via odin huh..
trying these methods wont unroot...
to unroot you have to do certain procedure.
Use chainfire's triangle away to reset your binary coubter, which counts the number of custom roms you installed..
and still to regain your warranty.. you need to edit CSC.. its a bit risky and lengthy process.. there are many threads in xda for that.. search 4 it

If you are on 4.4.2 MJ4 or newer you cannot root without KNOX beeing tripped. Period It will remain 0x1 wether you flash once or 50 times.

Where i live the N comes after the M alfabeticaly so you will get flagged.
URDLV http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2498850 :
What devices are supported?
Just about every Samsung device with KNOX! (Excluding Exynos based devices)
Samsung has caught on and has started patching bootloaders, you can still root, but you will trip KNOX.
If you are running MJ4, MJ7, MK1, MK2 or higher you can still root, but you will trip KNOX!
Is there is any way to make my 3g dongol over otg work without rooting

remember rooting with cf autoroot will trip ur knox counter to 0x1, meaning your warranty will be gone. use towelroot method instead.

Don't suggest towelroot if your not willing to test it yourself ? That's like asking someone to brick their phone intentionally ?
If you won't do it don't suggest someone to experiment for you

Well try updating the thread you opened asking if anyone had used it ?
XDA is a community & people share tips & results. If you updated your thread then you could maybe helping others ??
So in your reply "get your facts straight" I didn't have the facts to make a decision on Ok

My phone is not in warrenty period. Its finished just before 2 days. So I am thinking to root it. And if warranty doesn't matter it is ok to use CF Auto root? Please link me to the CF Auto root and compatible CWM recovery for S4 i9500.
And one more thing I don't know about 'towelroot'.

totally agree....the guy makes a thread asking if anyone's tried it, but said he didn't want to try it himself because he didn't want to risk doing it on his own phone.....then goes telling other people to use it?

You shouldn't run into any problems just flash with odin and once flash is complete do a nandroid backup before flashing a new custom rom
