Hi guys
Ive just installed PA on my d802 and have only 4gb storage left used 6gb and i cant find what the used 6gb is any ideas.
Made a nandroid? They are stored in a location I have found myself to be invisible and inaccessible by any means. The only way to delete it is through recovery itself.

After I manually flashed update 4.2 I realized that I had less storage, so when I went to settings and storage I saw that I had 4 and a half gigabytes taking up in a file called "0" in the misc section.. It gave me the option to delete it so I did... My tablet is fine... I still have everything.. What did I delete?!

The /0 is your sdcard.

4.2 seems to have a couple of folders that lead to your sdcard, like: 'sdcard', 'storage-legacy', 'storage-emulated', 'storage-sdcard0' and 'storage-0'. Deleting any of these, just cleans your sdcard.

Thank you, I figured that it was part of my SD card but I couldn't find any of my old files and my and 7 still works fine with all my stuff it was like it created an exact copy of what I already had

I need a method for installing apps to my sd card on my 16gb galaxy s4. I have tried using the folder mount app but this method only stopped my apps from working. I heard that there had been a ota update released that integrates this into the stock software, but I haven't heard any news about it coming to the att galaxy s4.

So far app2sd has just come out for the I9500/9505. you should be able to run one of the I9505 Roms with no problems.

Folder mount works best way better than apps 2 sd in a rom I have 7 gbs of games moved to my sd card and still have 7gbs free on internal storage with over 100 apps installed

I tried it as well and only ended up with the same game data on both my internal and external memory. I didnt like it either. So I'll wait for the update to come to at&t.

Well I have no issue with using folder mount maybe your doing it wrong plus you do know that apps 2 sd thats on an internation rom will move over the app buth not the data

If your firmware is newer then xxuamea then you have the option to move an app to sd in the app info window.

Guys, you're confusing him. As Disturbed said you can't move the data on the sd card, only the app itself. So app = 30 mb, data = 1gb, only app (30mb) will be moved to the sd. Basically this function is useless and won't help with the low space, but makes it look like Samsung cares about its customers.
Only way to move the data is by rooting and using an app like foldermount (can't say it's 100% the only way, i'm still a bit noobish on android, but that's what I found everywhere)
I was backing up my stock rom and for some reason (probably my fault) it saved to my internal memory instead of sd card. Can I simply move it over using file explorer? Any help?
Sent from my SPH-L720 using xda premium
Yes, you can just move it over. You can use the stock my files app if you'd like.

No other way?
Sent from my GT-I9500 using xda premium
Well the things you want to move are system files I suppose, so Wadda you think? You can only generally mess with system while rooted.
Sent from my GT-I9505 using xda app-developers app
Not the system files..
I want to move the game data thats hogging my memory.
For eg fifa 14 data is over 1 gb same with asphalt.
Move the data to sd card
