Touchscreen for MK808B

I have an MK808B android stick. How can we use a touch screen with this? I am using eGalax generic resistive touchscreen digitizer and controller with VendorID : 0eef and ProductID : 0001. I tried adding the vendor_0eef_product_0001.idc file to the system/usr/idc folder with the following content:
touch.deviceType=touchScreen
device.internal=1
On rebooting its not responding to any touch input. I suspect the touch screen driver is missing. What else could be the reason?
How can we check whether the touchscreen driver is already installed? Also is there any way to install the driver alone similar to Windows?

The MK808b does support touchscreen. The drivers are pre-installed.
I'm trying to get my MK808b working with an appradio SPH-DA100. That's a 7' touchscreen carradio (pioneer).
So far I'm only getting touchscreen-responses in the right half of the screen. It's as if the virtual device is in potraitmode while the screen is in landscapemode.
Not quite sure how to fix that.

[Q] NSTwGlowlight, half IR sensors acts wrong

I have recently bough a Nook Simple Touch with Glowlight (BNRV350). Used, no guarantee. It looks fine (has only a minor scratch on the light dispersing layer). Problem is - the lower half of the touch sensors give misplaced readings. For example - during the registration process I cannot get through the language selection screen. I can correctly mark English, but when I want to press an arrow to go further, Nook changes my mark to French, instead of getting me to the next screen. Cleaning borders of the screen with microfiber cloth and cotton swabs did not help.
I have another NSTG working fine, so:
1. I tried to copy its stock system backup and loading it to malfunctioning one. It didn't help. I could not even unlock the screen (although I could press "power off" or "cancel" buttons after holding power button).
2. I tried swapping mainboards (IR sensors are on them, not in the screen assembly). And It turned out, that wherever mainboard of the faulty unit is, the touch does not work properly. I tried to blow out the dust from those misbehaving sensors hoping that it just somehow got on the motherboard, but it did not help either.
So the question is: What else can I do to make those IR sensors work properly?

Maybe try to look on the sensors with a cellphone camera in dark room-then probably you will see which of the ir leds aren't working (if the problem is in leds not the sensors)

Unfortunately I couldn't find any camera able (tried mobile phone, point'n'shoot, DSLR...) to detect IR in their stock configuration (and messing up with disassembling the sensor filters seemed as not worth the case). I ended up buying another NSTG with shattered eink screen and salvaging its properly working mainboard (+completely fine battery, all for about $7). Problem solved. Kind of.

Thank You. I've read about Your program, but since I could not even unlock the screen or get past registration wizard (when trying to get that unit to factory state) I was unable to use it.

The Menu button (when you mapped) gets past the swipe.
You can start stuff with ADB intents.

Anyone know how to calibrate the touchscreen AN-21u 4.4.2

Like the title states I need to re-calibrate my touchscreen. I flashed the incorrect update files to the HU. I've reflashed working firmware to it and Ive got android working fine now except for the touchscreen.
Now the touch screen registers touches in the opposite area of the screen from where i touch. I can connect a mouse and use the system just fine.
I cant figure out how to open recovery as of late either.
I believe its a generic an-21 u android 4.4.2 dual core 1gb ddr3
Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same problem. I changed my settings in extra settings to [up] and that seem to make the left side operate better but not the right side.

how to update tsp fw?910C

screen has become unresponsive to touch,except the very bottom back/menu buttons.
*#2663# gives "unfortunately device keystring has stopped"
adb shell command gives same error
can it be updated with any different commands?

Had this on my Note 5 AT&T version. Been searching around google and no one found an answer, but mine works now.
Symptoms:
Touch screen not working, but s pen is able to work
*#2663# shows "DeviceKeystring has unfortunately stopped"
Capacative buttons (back and...menu?) work on both hand touch and s pen touch
I updated the TSP firmware earlier in the day, but that didn't fix the problem. Neither did wiping the cache from the recovery menu or any combinations of restarts, disconnecting the battery (inside the phone), a malware scan, and disconnecting the LCD screen and digitizer hardware (it had lint in the connector, but it still didn't work after cleaning). I started to see the Device Keystring crash after trying to access *#2663# again after I first updated the TSP firmware.
(I should note that I my LCD screen and digitizer are not the originals. I replaced from from a part I purchased from ifixit in Feb 2020.)
I don't know exactly what it was here that made it work, but this round of troubleshooting got it working. I saw that device keystring wasn't running in my Package Disabler app and had no data, so I disabled it and re-enabled it. I also tried to change the "scroll speed" setting under Input from android settings to the max. I disabled the samsung keyboard and re-enabled it. I made samsung keyboard the default keyboard and then set it as input. After a reboot, it works now. I'm still not sure if this was hardware or software since my phone was disassembled while I was working on it (maybe it was a loose connector that got bumped into place?), and I only started having touchscreen issues after using my new case which really clamps down on the phone.
Hopefully that's useful to someone out there. I wish I found a more definitive answer, though. Every forum where I saw this issue has no replies.

Head unit Touchscreen touch buttons not working after adding a fan

Hello guys I have added a fan to this unit in ACC pin , but the touch and touch buttons no longer work I tried to correct the touch calibrator but it never responds, it works fine by usb mouse, I want to know if re-flashing the firmware fixing the isse , I don't think Hardware issues because all connections and cables are good, can anyone help me to know which firmware is suitable for this unit and how I can download it and flash to the unit, or how to fix it, cuz i bought from just 2 weeks ago i didn't install to my car yet,
