Load Flash Player - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

I'm looking to load flash on my phone. I downloaded the app but it still won't work on any browsers is there a way to get this to work?

I think flash will only work with Firefox or puffin. It won't work with chrome. There might be another browser too

I managed to get it working with Firefox by following the instructions at the link below. I don't think it was working with chrome but I wasn't really looking for that. Puffin is still a better solution though as the quality of the flash in Firefox wasn't the best. Flashfox is another alternative but again it isn't as good as puffin.

OK so the best flash representation that I've found, running remote desktop over VPN then using a desktop browser.

Whether you have flash or not is browser independent.
You need Froyo and to have Flash installed from the market.
I know that I got froyo I ain't noon I have been thought alot I under stand all this now I got voodoo and custom rom so I think I know what flash is

I use opera and dolphin both load flash items so I guess YES
It wont work for me I.go on youtube and then it says I need plugin

Opera Mobile 10 does not support flash even if you are running Android 2.2 or higher. You need to use Dolphin,Miren, or Xscope.
Opera Mobile is still beta so maybe the final will have flash.
EDIT: Are you using Opera Mini? You said you were using it with a proxy which is what Opera Mini/Skyfire use. I don't know if Mini supports flash, never tried it. Froyo has flash built in, if you're not seeing flash it's because the browser doesn't support it or you need to turn on 'plug-ins' somewhere in the options.
Or just use the 3 browsers I mentioned above.
I still use Steel, don't laugh, it's orphaned I know, but that will not load flash content.
Don't blame me, blame my keyboard's autocorrection algorithm.
What is this I don't even..........

How to save wifi data?

Hey.
I got a mobile broadband the other day and want help saving as much data as possible. What's a good browser to use mainly that doesn't load flash images all that. Or even one that gives me the option to load images.

Pretty much any of the third party browsers will have these options. I know dolphin has the option to not load plugins without telling it you want to run it.
I would check out the browser thread and find some browsers you like then install them and try them.
If you ask 20 people what browser is best you will get at least 18 different answers or reasons why. It all depends on your personal preference.
Not running flash on jellybean should be much easier than running flash.

opera
opera mini browser is my best recommendation

[OT] Why don't phone internet browsers work on XDA anymore??

I noticed about 4 months ago, Chrome on my S3 didn't like XDA.... So I used Firefox with no issues.
Then I had a LG Optimus G Pro (for about 1 week) with same results, so I used Firefox.
On my HTC One, neither Chrome or Firefox works on XDA, only the stock browser worked.
Now on my S4, I've tried all three and none of them work?
The page will load....... I can log in, but every time I scroll, the page reloads, which basically makes it unusable now...... Anybody else run into this problem?
Perhaps they are trying to get everyone to Tapatalk. It's a very good app.

yup. Same issue here. I have about given up using my phone to browse XDA. I really dont want to buy an app just to browse an internet forum....
I found a free XDA app in the play store that'll work, you might give it a try?

I use the xda app its a really good app. I don't really like going on the site through mobile and having to make the page bigger it seems to be slower on webpages also.

I use the xda app most of the time but dont have any issues using firefox or the stock browser to view it either?

AOSP browser
Fastest browser I've ever used.
Smoothest browser I've ever used.
Fash works flawlessly with it.
Quick controls ftw.
Havent had a FC yet. (Reliable)
The only issue I've ever had with AOSP is on some forums it weirds out and wont let you add attachments and the word selector acts trippy. But other than that AOSP is flawless.
Edit: Also just to add the interface is very lite and simple which is a plus for me.

Are you having issues with it freezing? I sometimes have to FC it, and then it works fine.
I use firefox because of the bookmark sync issue with chrome.

No, not as of yet. There was a bug back on 4.2.2 that caused fc when fullscreen was activated but I havent had that issue in 4.3
Chrome Beta or Naked Browser.
Chrome because it syncs with all my other PCs that use Chrome and Naked Browser cause it is simply the fastest browser I have used. Not much on looks, just pure speed.
Internet browser is a tad faster but I prefer the latest version of Chrome version 30.0.1599.92 since it does a better job of correctly displaying some sites that the Internet browser has issues with and is also very smooth and stable now.
I use chrome and also I use android browser from the playstore. Its basically the browser we had on the note 2 which was great. The stock browser on the note 3 doesn't sign in with Google anymore. I'd highly recommend checking it out. Just search android browser in the play store.

Why is this showing zero replies when you're on the main Troubleshooting page and it isn't getting moved up when someone replies?

I have always used and will likely continue to use Firefox for Android, as I have been a Firefox user for more than half a decade.
What are the differences between the 4.3 stock browser and the KK one?
Boat browser...I like the plugins and UI feel...

Using Dolphin since it can work with the hacked Flash apk.
Anyone know if any apps have working text reflow AND sync with desktop chrome or google? Flash would be a bonus but at this point I am really not happy with googles decision to kill text reflow.

I've been using Firefox, but it seems much less stable since I updated to KK.
This is driving me nuts, there has to be a way to have re-flow and sync!

Agreed, I'm going back to 4.3. I cannot have a phone without a broswer that doesn't suck!
Browser bowser
I use dolphin for most non flash sites. The hacked flash worked for one or two page loads, then kaput. I uninstalled it then went back to a different flash apk with firefox. Together they work, but sputter.
Why can't the 4.3.1 brower work on NC2 or NC4?
