As a large forum we don't need unnecessary clutter, You're free to edit your message as you like, so if you do not receive an answer revisit your message and see if you can describe your problem better. Not everyone is online at the same time, it might take a while before you receive an answer.

Spamming to get your post count up in order to post in the dev section is against the rules, all you will achieve by this is getting your posts nuked.

^ This.
OP your posts have been deleted, don't spam to get 10 posts - your account will be reset back to 0 if you do - and as said before, questions go in the Q&A forum - you do not need 10 posts to post in Q&A. In addition to this have you tried searching the forum for answers first (or even searching Google)?

[ANNOUNCEMENT]Please read regarding FLAMING and POSTING IN THE WRONG SECTION

Aight look. We have a Q&A section now, and I ask that all questions be posted in that section. This is a well known rule, and a simple one to boot.
But, that isn't what this thread is about. No, this thread is about FLAMING OTHER USERS FOR POSTING IN THE WRONG SECTION. Simply put, the amount of flaming that goes on for people posting in the wrong section is ASTOUNDING.
From this point on(4/16/2011) any and all threads that are flame wars will be closed, and the people doing the flaming will be issued infractions. These will all start as yellow cards, IE warnings that expire and do not go against your profile. If you continue to flame, they will escalate to red cards, which DO go against your profile and CAN and WILL lead to a ban, which may be permanent.
I honestly do not want to be posting this thread. But this has just gone too far.
IF someone posts in the wrong section, a polite "please post in the correct section", a short answer and a report to me is all that is required and expected. Please note that when you report a post it goes to me and the senior moderators and administrators. I have also made it so that I will now receive PM's directly to my phone so that I can get things resolved faster.
If you go into a thread that is in the wrong section, and the OP has already been told this, DO NOT add to the post, rather send me a PM with the link/info or click the REPORT POST button.
To the point folks-the flaming is out of control. I am partly to blame for enforcing that questions be posted in the Q&A section and completely realize this, but in order to keep this forum clean the Q&A rule will remain to be a rule.
This thread is closed. If you have any comments or concerns regarding this matter, please PM me.
Thanks-saur.

"Wonder what I did wrong", even if you did not use the "?", also this was a question. You are going to get banned! hehe

No one is going to get banned for politely asking a question. We are enforcing the 'no question' rule in General now, however. I had the Q&A section added as soon as the rules allowed, please use it! We are moving questions into that forum as we post

General - Question & Answer section is not a place where everyone can open a new thread with the own question. It is needed to search before, read the sticky threads, read the wikis, read and read once again, and post in an existing thread, if necessary. Repetitive topics will be deleted/closed without previous notice. Topics like 'urgent help' or 'do I brick my phone?' and so will be deleted/closed. Infractions issued to reiterative members. Remember XDA-Developers.com is about development. That includes Q&A section! Thanks for your cooperation. Best regards,
what's this

Forum rules grr

I understand why there have to be rules on a forum, for example the 10 post minimum before I can post on a development thread, but, I have been lurking for quite some time and have a specific question related to a ROM for which I seriously doubt I will receive an answer on a general thread.
I saw one post of a 'Thank you to Wescrip', the creator of ICS Resurrection and the person was told off and post it in the proper thread instead. Of course this original poster had only 1 post so he/she too was actually unable to do so.
So I hope you excuse me but I guess I will have to post some drivel here and there to up my post-count...
No offence, but ranting about it here really isn't going to help solve anything. Best thing to do is to post around helping others until you have the required amount.
Here's an excellent post on the rule, the reasons for it, and how you can go about obtaining 10 relevant posts

[Q] why the new members need to have 10 posts to post on development?

why the new members need to have 10 posts to post on development?
Because questions should be posted in the Q&A forum
So that threads like these doesn't pop up in the Development forums and had you searched XDA for a answer to this question you'd probably find a few more like these.

So they don't ask dumb questions in the wrong place.
Members no longer need 10 posts to post in Development.
If the member has less then 10 posts a Q&A thread will be created with the question you are asking.
Also the Developer can choose to allow any and all questions if they wish to do so.
