thank you for letting me know on price. that is what is was guessing on a site but wasnt sure if the site was real or a china knock off...any ideas where to purchase?
I need the snapdragon 800 version which is LTE since quick charger 2.0
I have note 10.1 2014 and recharging is brutal takes forever and its discharging faster than you can recharge so its a waste to try and use it plugged in...I heard the usb 3.0 snapdragon version os.much better obviously this is at a cost $

Odd. I have stock wife 10.1 2014, with the 5.3v. 2A. Charger I goes from 0 to full in about 3 hours. I use it all day as a college student and it easily lasts all day with the screen on. Middle to low brightness, no auto.
I've been the most impressed with the battery duration and charge time more than any other device I've used. The right charger AND cable are important. Other wise it could take 24 hours or more to charge

Has anyone found where I can buy it? I'm searching and getting dust for consistent results. I'm hesitant with some of the sites I never heard of. Need confirmation people bought it and get the right product. Spending a lot of money don't want some Chinese bogus fake.

Like you,
I'm anxious, waiting to pull the trigger on the LTE. I don't want Verizon either because they lock you into a contract and even worse, they lock bootloaders. Not sure if you're into rooting and stuff, but it is a major deciding factor for me. Right now I'm weighing the slow charge time of Wi-fi, which is negligible if the LTE versions will be bootloader locked by carriers.I'm definitely getting the 64GB though. Your thoughts?
I wouldn't worry about Verizon getting it any time soon. As of Saturday it is not listed in their system and someone I know at Corporate said it is at least 2-3 months out. Take that with a grain of salt as VZ typically has no clue when they will be getting something
Um Mike then why are leaks saying March 6th for Verizon launch?
I just want what I want and that is unlocked LTE version so I can decide of I want to get service with Sprint or not.
I'm not a fan of data cap plans...I know with our usage ever increasing that is tough to find.

Too funny. What do I know Verizon released the 12.2 LTE for 850 with no contract. Only 100 off with a 2 year commitment.
I'll stick with my WiFi
http://www.engadget.com/2014/03/06/galaxy-note-pro-for-verizon/?ncid=rss_truncated
I hear ya bud. On a positive note, when I need LTE I can use it. Sprint unfortunately is lacking in some places and that will help on camping trip and what not so my phone won't have to be hotspot the whole time.
Yea only $100 off didn't sway me either that's why I paid 850 for no contract and $40/month to month for 4GB...it's potentially a positive thing. Obviously I will have to monitor my usage on 4lte but I'll at least have that as an option. The chipset might be minor to some and to that I say kudos, but for me, recharging and using it is key as well as how long it takes to recharge if you shut it off.
Well I have 14 days to test it if I change.my mind
Thanks for your responses

I got my NotePro P-905 from "never-msrp" on eBay. At $899, it is now almost $30 less than what I paid for it last week. Fast, free shipping from Texas of a UK model. The box was sealed and an adapter was included for the stock European charger. I rooted it immediately and am enjoying my new toy, it is a BEAUT!

The At&t note is a dpwngrade in every way as the other poster said.
At&t is also known for throttling LTE users very fast so until the tech is refined, LTE is not worth trading out the Note.

let us know what non-wifi dl speeds you get on tmobile. i got 10-13mb's on their lte. know it won't be that, but just curious and dissappointed with dl speeds on n1 with tmobile. when contract is up, may switch carriers.
Just read about it via tmonews on an off subject about HTC One S.

Not bad considering I bought the nexus one when it came out and got the Galaxy Nexus for $450 after taxes and shipping!

So far I am loving this phone. Every aspect of the device is an upgrade. I purchased it through MobiCity on Amazon. I live in the US and have ATT service. I understand that this version will not do LTE, and having LTE in the past i wasn't that impressed with it, due to the fact it hogs the battery and with data plans like they are hspa+ does great.
I havent gotten my new sim card yet but i was curious to know what the reception and data speeds would be like If anyone else has ATT with this model. The firmware version is XXALIE.

I'm right here on the fence whether to buy or not from the sellers at Amazon or not. I always prefer to buy directly from Amazon or the OEM (Samsung). But the launch date is so freaking away from now, I can't wait...
You have guts tho son, you bought from the seller that just launched:
click me for list of Amazon Sellers selling the Grey version
I want the white one, it's on amazon as well for 20 bucks more - I hear finger prints and smudges are less noticeable on the white one. I have an iphone as well so I already have the micro sim. You don't need a new SIM, you can cut yours out if you want. Them regular cell stores should have the SIM cutters that can cut out yours to the propper measurements; that's what I did, never did contacted my carrier for a new SIM.

Grats and enjoy it! I thought about jumping on the UK version, but I myself have a hard time justifying such a large purchase without LTE. I am on Sprint but will be making the switch to ATT once the phone releases to get on thier HSPA+/LTE since I am in St. Louis and that's one of their most supplied networks.

This is a scenario where I'm glad I don't have an LTE plan. I have an international Note 2 (AT&T) and will be getting a Nexus 4 for portability. They both use a micro-SIM and both are HSPA+, so I can swap the SIM and go without hassle. If you have an LTE phone and plan, HSPA+ speeds are terrible.
Best of both worlds. Selling my GNEX (which I kept for portability) to finance the Nexus 4. No more SIM tray adapters!
I'm getting ~6mbps on HSPA+ and have exactly zero NEED for LTE. My data is plenty fast, thank you very much!

Ok well I was basing it off of my short stint with a Lumia 900. They changed my plan to LTE and when I put the SIM in my Galaxy Nexus, the speeds were very poor. Ended up having to give them an Atrix IMEI to get speeds over 300kbps. After the LTE was removed and my data was re-provisioned to HSPA+ (on the Atrix IMEI, a recognized "4g" ATT phone) my speeds went back to 5mbps.
Maybe it's been fixed (LTE vs. HSPA+ speeds) but I didn't have a good experience with an LTE plan and a non-LTE phone.

I am a UK resident and I wish to purchase a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. It's quite expensive in the UK although I was wondering if I bought it from the US, due to the currency conversion rate, it'll come out cheaper (I've previously bought the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) from the US and the overall cost still came out cheaper if had I bought it from here)
My main concern is that will the phone still work here in the UK I.e will I still be able to get calls and will my existing sim card still work (I have no problem with getting it unlocked) ?! I was asking because of the different carriers and antennas and what not. I am not a person uses LTE as my current tariff doesn't support it so I have no problem with that being like the deciding factor. I'm currently on the 3 carrier in the UK. Thank You

Don't H3G use different frequencies? I know H3G phones were a pain in the butt a while ago due to their oddball requirements, but I would imagine flashing the H3G btu firmware would resolve any "issues" as it would include their modem.
Am I barking up the wrong tree here?
As long as you don't buy it locked to verizon, sprint or at&t then it will work fine, because those networks are cdma I believe. And as the UK doesn't have any cdma networks, only gsm, the device won't work.

Yes, the ATT note will work on 3G and 3G+ networks for your carrier in the UK. 3 has no GSM (2G) and only uses the 3G 2100 band. The ATT note 3 has the following 3G bands: 850/1900/2100MHz

Except for 3. Like in Canada with Bell and Telus. They have no 2G but Rogers does.

There are threads on here about region lock. You have to insert the 'territory' correct sim card for 3-5 mins and then lock will be removed. ou can get it removed by ringing Samsung or you can root and remove it that way.
PS... It would appear that you didn't get a clear answer on Android Central Either!

To the op, if you are not fussed about the LTE, then Note 3 from ATT or T-mobile will work on 3G in the UK. As mentioned previously, do not buy from Verizon, Virgin, etc as they are CDMA phones and will not work in UK.
Another option is to buy from amazon USA if you are currently in the US. Get the International version.

Thank you, my current tariff doesn't support LTE, and I have no interest in paying extra for it, do you how how I can get an American Note 3 apart from eBay (I'd like to keep my options open)

You must be in USA because you need to use an American Sim card first so that the region lock will be removed but I could be wrong. Whereanouts are you in UK? For maybe 50 quid worth, I would just buy feom UK. Its not worth the gamble and hassle for me
Put serious value on the warranty on a Note3 .. its not quite such a bullet proof phone as a note 2.
Also I got one here in UK at a great price just a week after launch by getting it on Voda contract then unlocking it for EE use. There must be some cheap deals in UK now surely.

I'll give it some good thought although I can't seem to find any good deals and I'm not exactly the wealthiest person so I'I'll take any cheap option can get, I'm already on a SIM only contact so I just want to purchase the phone by itself
