I have a chinese, SM-N9008, note 3. It is possible for it to be rooted, then have twrp or cwm installed, and download cyanogenmod ( or some multi carrier rom) onto it? I am not sure if this model has an unlocked bootloader or not.
Sorry for the noob question! I can't find anything about this model except on chinese forums that I barely can read xD.

If don't understand Chinese, use PC Google Chrome, it allow auto translate the page to others languages.
Hi guys, first of all yesterday I bought a new note 3 N-9000Q, and I searched for a root file but I couldn't find it because this model is just for Turkey, and my android version is 4.4.2 kitkat.
I can't live without root (if you know what I mean) .
Can anyone help me with that, and is there and difference between N9000Q and N9000 which means can I install a normal n9000 root file on my n9000Q ?

No. As long as the files are meant for different models, you'll brick your phone.

Please check to make sure your Device Type is ha3g and Product Name is ha3gjv.
You can find these info in the Phone INFO ★Samsung★ app (under GENERAL INFO section).

ok so the specific model i have is a SM N900. i have some questions. btw, iam rooted and have custom recovery installed.
1. Can i only install Roms specific to my model?
2. is there a way to install roms made for sm n9005 on my model?
3.is there a custom rom out there that is close to stock? or any AOSP roms out for sm n900? (ive searched and had no luck finding one)

I have the cricket variant of the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime which I have rooted, installed SuperSU, and unlocked the boot loader (I think). But I don't see any custom recoveries available for my device. My question is there one available? If not what do I need to do to port TWRP to my device? I´d like to request some help, a friend gifted me a samsung galaxy S4 and i´d like to install a custom ROM, i was looking for the model and i saw that there are different versions of the device IE I9500, I9505, I9505G, I9506 to be honest i dont know which device do i have, all it says in the back is: SGH-i337M, so i want to be sure about the model and so i dont mess up things.
Also, if any of you can suggest me a ROM it will be appreciated, i used to have an experia play and i really enjoyed the pac rom back then.
