Hi guys, first of all yesterday I bought a new note 3 N-9000Q, and I searched for a root file but I couldn't find it because this model is just for Turkey, and my android version is 4.4.2 kitkat.
I can't live without root (if you know what I mean) .
Can anyone help me with that, and is there and difference between N9000Q and N9000 which means can I install a normal n9000 root file on my n9000Q ?

No. As long as the files are meant for different models, you'll brick your phone.

Hi,
Please check to make sure your Device Type is ha3g and Product Name is ha3gjv.
You can find these info in the Phone INFO ★Samsung★ app (under GENERAL INFO section).

You can try Towelroot from here http://towelroot.com/. Just open this site on the phone and hit the Lambda. If its not compatible no harm can be done.

I've tried towelroot and failed, too.
And I've also tried S5 root with no luck. Almost got my phone bricked.
I am also looking to find a way to root my Samsung Galaxy S5 G906S.

That root method works! But it's not for free. It costs about US$8. and definitely breaks the warranty.
Also It's not easy to pay if you dont live in China.

My problem is i came to the point that I need to flash via odin this unit but it is so hard to find a suitable and trusted Stock ROM for this unit, i've been to sammobile.com but they don't have this model there, so here is my question, will it be possible to flash this phone with a stock rom from other note model like N900S without damaging or bricking my phone? I try also to google roms for this and they suggesting korean forum site which basically i dont know if it is legit or not. Thanks in advance.

From what I know, you can flash N9005 firmware together with the appropriate PIT file.
You can find the firmware for your device in the convenience way by using Phone INFO ★Samsung★ app > Menu > 'Firmware Browser'.

There is nothing to worry about. Just root with the file you mentioned and be happy

Just going through the search forums and by the looks of it unless samsung pick up the pace I'm stuck on 4.4.2 because Optus tried to save some money.
has anyone had any success with a towelroot note 3 9007 variant and been able to run a lollipop rom on it yet? if so was odin required and which rom do you use.
