You right I had same error message 2 day's ago. It's related to 1 of your apps . I had blackmart app on my phone every time I use blackmart then I get 500 500 server error message on my screen. If you use some apps not come from Google play store then you will get viruses.
Just remove untrusted apps from your device then you will be fine

I think that is an ads. Ads from an app. Can you check out your apps one by one. I think, for me, blackmart market is the one that make that error, but its fine for me. Just press back back back then the error fix.
EDIT: Do you install some of anti virus apps?

Well actually its not really recommended for our android devices to use anti virus app. Installing anti virus app will slow down your device. Not that im telling you to not use anti virus app. Yes you can use anti virus app. But in your case the "internal server error", try deleting your anti virus first. If the problem still occur, check again your install apps. If still occur then, last but not least, format it

This happened to me after using Metamorph to install the new lockscreen. I seem to have issues every time I use Metamorph so I just stopped using it. It may work ok for some, but for me it just caused to many issues and I had to always use nandroid to restore back.

There is no "uninstall updates" option, only "uninstall".
Can you clarify? Thanks.

"Out of Space" error problem...

Hi, I'm having a problem with an erroneous "out of space" error when trying to install an application. I had Skype 2.0 working on the phone with minor issues for a few days. I then uninstalled it to try a new version and since then, whenever I try to reinstall any version of Skype (even the one from the market), it gives me an out of space error. I can, however, install other applications, so it's clearly not a space issue, as Skype isn't a big application.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
-Rob
Move apps to your sd card
Settings>applications>manage applications>(click on a big app)>move to sd
And your done
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA Premium App
You could also uninstall some apps you use less frequently until you can get Skype installed and then put those other apps back on.
...
Thanks for your replies. The issue here is that I'm 99.9% sure that I actually DO have space to install the application, it just won't install. Other applications will install currently, I've removed a bunch of other applications, and I actually HAD Skype installed two days ago. It's very odd. Any other ideas?
Thanks,
-Rob

Wipe cache and dalvik 3x.
I had the same issue with Skype. It bloated to ~40mb after two or so days, so I uninstalled it. I wasn't able to reinstall it after that, regardless of available space. I have since loaded a rom so I was able to install after everything was wiped, but I never found a way to get it installed before that. Having said that, I didn't really try very hard, because the Skype app annoys me more than anything else I've ever downloaded. I've also re-removed it since I put on the new rom
...
I tried out the cache wipes, but it didn't work, unfortunately.
Gorilla, that is not good news. I suppose I needed an update, anyway...oh well.
Thanks for the help!
-Rob
I've never personally had the issue, but I've read about applications not installing a second time and throwing this error. It could be some residual files left over from the last installation.
Use a file explorer and search for "skype" and see what pops up. Remove them all. Reboot phone and try installing again.
If you already bought Root Explorer, that should work, but I use Super Manager as it works just the same and is free.

How to remove Lookout Antivirus from rooted Note 3?

How can I remove the Lookout Antivirus from the Note 3? I tried using Titanium Backup but it says "Failed to locate the apk file". Thanks.

If it can't be found, maybe just disable it?
If it's an N900T (T-Mobile) it's baked into the firmware I think so cannot be removed.
I froze mine, so it doesn't run all the time. Much better that way, since if you had a virus or some other security issues, you could unfreeze it and find it actually helpful. Also deleting some apps could break your phone, for example my phone stop working properly when I froze beeming service for beep n go program which I uninstalled. It was easy to fix it by unfreezing.
I was able to uninstall it using Clean Master

I need help with downloads on my galaxy note 3

Ok, I'd like to start off by apologizing for a stupid post, but i need answers and I think this can help.
So let me explain my problem. I recently tried to download 3 'big' apps from the playstore not realizing I had only about 400 mb left of storage; obviously after I finished the downloads it showed a warning stating that I had insufficient space. I cleared up some space but even after having 4 gb of space, I couldn't download even one though they were only about 1 gb each. I figured that I needed more space so I cleared even more to have 19 gb of space, but the when I tried again, the same error showed up. Out of options, I decided to reset my phone after backing it up, but now even with all this space, the apps that I tried to download while I had no space still show the same error.
Hoping for quick replies or to talk with people who experienced similar problems. Again sorry for the stupid post.

Yes, i have tried both, yet nothing seems to work. I also recieve random errors when downloading some apps.
Did you mean you have factory reset your phone? Or reboot?
In any case you can try to Clear Cache or Clear Data for your Google Play app.
If this does not help, there might be a problem with your Google account? Try to delete unneeded apps from 'My apps' list. Or try to add another account to your phone? Then download again.
Are you using a MicroSD? If the answer is yes, How much space is left on that?
I have factory rested my phone; No, I'm not using an SD c
card

Well, I tried using a new account and I realized the apps i tried to download were blocked in the country I'm in. (I'm in China for vacation) I'll update everyone to see if the problem is fixed. Thanks

Foreground apps crash with no errors

Hello
I have this problem. whenever I open play store and apply updates or install new apps, the play store crashes and the updates are interrupted until I re-open it and resume the update manually. This doesn't seem to happen when the updates are done in the background automatically without opening the store first. I have already tried uninstalling, deleting cache and data, reboot etc. but the problem persists.
I have the Samsung Galaxy note 3 SM-N9005 LTE version with rooted kitkat 4.4.2

I see that very few people have this very annoying issue
I just don't want to resort to factory reset. I mean I know it will probably fix it but I just don't feel like setting my phone up again from the start which is time consuming, besides, what would be the purpose of this wonderful community if all problems were solved by wiping up one's phone.
I was wondering if the cause could be some poor memory management or bad cleaning/anti-virus apps interfering with the memory management I mean I am a complete noob in terms of android management but I assume when there are multiple apps being downloaded/updated at the same time it must consume a great deal of resources but for an app to crash without even the popup message that says "....has stopped" I have never seen before

Maybe you try to get a appstore.apk, delete your's wipe Cache and then install the apk.
I would also recommend data wipe though cause with backup (I use titanium) it'll be less time consuming than everything else. Just backup user data and you won't have to set it up again. The thing is it's not guaranteed that the problem lies within playstore and since we don't have your phone in our hands it is nearly impossible to point you to the exact fix.

well... speaking of backup I also use titanium and nandroid, thank god for that because earlier I tried something stupid (suggested here on XDA though) I cleared the app store cache and data which is fine because I did it before with no problem but then I cleared the google services framework data/cache, I wish I hadn't because it literally messed everything up. I was unable to connect at all to the store even though I had a good network connection. thank god it worked again after I restored the app/data
I can live with that issue. it's not such a hassle since I usually check the play store for updates every day at least. but I may try your first suggestion though. thanks 4aces

As you wish b careful though. I think (definitely not 100% sure) you have to put the apk file in device/system/apk with es file Explorer or root Explorer and than put the permission to rw rr.
That's why I recommend full wipe.

oops... no appstore.apk in /system/app folder. how could that be? On the other hand there is a com.android.vending-1.apk in /data/app so I'm puzzled

thanks for the link. maybe I could try to update it as my version is 4.6.17 which is older than 4.8.19 and see if there is a change. One thing I don't understand is that one can only disable it and not uninstall it so does that mean it's a system app even though it's not in the /system/app folder? should I convert it to user app with titanium prior to update?

From what I read so far it is implemented in system and not so easy to mess with. In the link above is a link back to xda. It'll be best if u read it.
PS. Hitting the thanks button is faster than typing
Ok I installed the new version but no improvement the app still crashes while downloading the second update. Grrrrr... insane!

One more suggestion. Try to open application manager in settings and select all. Look for download manager and clear the cache then reboot.
If it doesn't help wait for other replies or wipe data will have to do the work.

I tried that but didn't help. then I tried to update and move to system, made it even worse as play store crashed as soon as I hit the update button. Reinstalling the app wouldn't help so I had to restore a nandroid backup. I'm giving up now but won't waste time doing a wipe data because it's not a real issue since I'm able to update anyway by hitting the button and close play store right after. All my apps still update in the background anyway
