I believe that in their thread it says it works with v22 or so. Have to look there. Haven't tried it yet. Just got spark update last night.

I wish someone would let me know

How to root and load custom rom

I have a galaxy s4 on at&t and have been wanting to root and load a custom rom. I found the thread to load a root load a custom rom and by pass bootloader. I noticed at the top of the thread it has update and says with Build Number I337UCUAMF3 that it won't work. Does anybody know how to root and load custom roms for this build number or am stucking waiting for a work around. Thank you for any replys.
You're stuck waiting for a work around.
Could I use odin to roll back to i337ucuamdl?

Ya some of us should have blocked the update from happening....
I am sad to say, that there is no way back to MDL, but I'm sure someone is working on a bootloader fix on MF3, so hold for awhile.
Ok. Hopefully soon. Getting bored of stock ROM.

With my Captivate (SGS1) and my SGS2 I flashed a new ROM every couple of weeks... with the SGS4, I love the stock ROM with some minor tweaks using Xposed.

I still have a G3 here also, it isn't going anywhere either..
Not rooted yet. Was thinking of it for wifi tether. But is rooting really worth it without being able to to unlock bootloader.

You can at least do more than what you can do now, with root, you can at least mod the rom your on.

I've rooted and got twrp recovery on my friends phone...mind u I never had at&t before if it matters, but when I flash a ROM I get a yellow triangle and it says it's not an official system or something approved from at&t?...what am I supposed to do

There are a few threads about this. Look in the general section and the trouble shooting section.

Yes, the developer updated his root method (can be found in the Android Development section of this forum) to support the post-OTA Verizon software version.

Is it possible to download the spark ot manually? Non rooted

I unrooted my phone few weeks ago to take the new spark update. I know there are a few tricks a lot of you know of to keep root but I decided to go the safe route. I've been reading this site for a few days without seeing any apk for the new spark update... I think. Simply put is there a way to download this ota without waiting for it to come ota?
