Is it possible to just install it manually, like the boot animation that HYperdrive has and just install it into a 4.4 AOSP rom?

I think you're in the wrong forum, there are no 4.4 ROMs for the S4 Active. Try posting in the regular S4 forums.

Hello guys. I need an advice pls.
I flashed a galaxy s4 i9500 (international) with sokp Rom. (Aosp based 4.4 Rom)
Now I want to flash a pure stock 4.4 Rom. Which I never had on my device. I started with custom Roms from 4.2.2, moved to 4.3 and then the custom Sokp Rom. So I need words of advice.
Is there a flashable latest stock rom which I can flash in twrp? If yes, are the steps the same as flashing custom Rom?
Where can I get a link if such?
Thanks in advance.

You can flash through odin a stock rom from sammobile or a custom rom generated from stock from xda where you can flash the zip file you pput on the microsd card for i.e. with recovery. But original stock rom which might be used to restore original condition (for warranty reasons for i.e.) should be flashed with odin or kies.

Right now it is not possible to run AOSP/AOKP ROMS even with SS. We can only run TouchWiz based and GPE ROMs.

I'm hoping for something to be released soon but at the moment it isn't possible.
Hello all,
I am running a touch wiz rom, Skyfall, and TWRP 2.7 is my recovery. I was wondering if there are any custom roms for the Samsung Galaxy S4 - SGH-I337Z from Cricket. The codename is 'jflteaio' and I didn't want to brick the device by simply 'trying' one of the I337 Roms. In fact, the only reason I have Skyfall is because a dev(hroark13) confirmed it working on his device on Android Forums. Any help would be awesome! Thanks!

Try the unified section, im pretty sure there are roms and kernels made for our S4s, and compatible with all models.
Sent from my SM-T310
I looked in the unified section and I could not find a place to ask questions about my Cricket model of the S4. It said it was only for Development. If at all possible, could you point me in the right direction? Thanks!
Late answer to this question for anyone looking at this. There's not much info. out there about the i337z from Cricket/AIO.
First, install TWRP found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...cket-aio-sgh-i337z-jflteaio-twrp-2-7-t2858698. You'll have to install a terminal emulator app from the Play Store to follow the installation instrucitons.
Second, make a backup using TWRP. You'll need this if you flash a ROM and your S4 won't boot.
Third, flash a custom Touchwiz rom. Goldeneye worked on my i337z with 4.4.2, baseband ND3, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2313469. I flashed it as an AT&T i337 safestrap selection in the Aroma settings that appear after you click install in TWRP. Another poster said they liked Skyfall by the same developer as Goldeneye. Wifi didn't work for me when I flashed the Skyfall ROM, but you may just need to change the build.prop file to ro.securestorage.support=true from ro.securestorage.support=false.

Just out of curiosity, do you know for sure that roms meant for the i337 won't automatically work on this particular device? Eventually, I want to run a GPe lollipop ROM.

Not for sure,. I've gotten AT&T ROMs to work if the ROM has an Aroma installer to allow you to select to NOT install a kernel, normally shown as AT&T Safestrap. I also was able to install the Goldeneye ROM that does include a kernel. I'm not sure why as there may be some compatibility between the kernels. By in large, most AT&T ROMs that include a kernel would not boot after installing.
I'd go with GPE Lollipop, or flash ATT's CWM and flash cyanogenmod's 12.1. that one's pretty nice. Or just stick with kitkat. anything kitkat, by now, has its bugs worked out. Really liked slimrom
I noticed that inside the NC1 flashable zip that I got from the INDEX thread located in General, there's no boot.img. Is there supposed to be one in it? If there is I think i might've deleted it. Also, if is there a better Stock rooted 4.4.X (deodexed if possible) base rom? It would really help me out cause I'm begining to develop my own SafeStrap compatible rom.

Have you checked out ShoStock rom? It's a stock TouchWiz based custom rom.
I was wondering if there is a way to skip track with the volume keys without having Xposed installed because I am using stock rom and framwork get my phone stuck on boot. I am rotted etc so if there is anything I| could flash it would be appreciated.
A custom rom.
All Cyanogenmod roms have this feature.
There's a GPE rom with this feature.
And the TW custom roms might have this feature too. You'll have to ask in the TW custom rom threads.
Other than that, Xposed is the only option.

I am using TWRP 2.5.0.0, I created a backup before I flashed the new ROM but when it would get stuck on boot screen with the new ROM I tried to restore the backup but then that also got stuck at boot screen. So reinstalled the stock ROM that fixed it but, still no luck with any ROMS.
